I had been entertaining the children of the village earlier this morning with camilo
It was one of the first times we'd had a proper interaction, and it's one of the nicest things that's happened since I've arrived here
Suddenly, someone burst through the door it was Mirabel she wore a large smile on her face as she came up to me excitedly
'Y/n! Do you have a dress for later on?!!' She spoke frantically as she gapped my forearms jumping up and down slightly
'Umm...no mirabel...may I ask why-' she couldn't let me finish the end of my sentence as she pulled me in the direction off her closet
'That's great because I have the perfect price for you to try on!' She said as she rummaged through her closet
Mirabel's had now helped me get ready for tonight, zipping up my dress as she exited the room, waiting for me to follow
As I turned the doorknob, waiting to go downstairs, I heard a voice come from behind me
'You look...gorgeous me amor...' a voice came from behind me
As I looked to see who had spoken, no one was there, just a blank space
I shrugged to myself as I made my way down the stairs of the Casita
'Must have been my imagination'
'We have come here today...'
Alma spoke as y/n stood opposite to her her hands placed neatly on the Madrigals Miracle candle
'To use our candle to bless us once more...using this candle..this girl will no longer hold any memories or recollections of her interactions or feelings for Camilo madrigal'
As the older woman spoke the air around the two began to spiral, it seemed as, to any outsider, if she were casting a spell on the younger girl
As I sat on the bench on the top of the hill, a soft tune from earlier began to play in my head
I began to tap my foot to the beat of it as the boy beside me jumped ontop of the bench, tapping his feet along to the same Rhythm
As we swayed to the same tune in our minds, he twirled me around in the moonlight
As I faced back, I saw the moon shining over the horizon, smiling to myself as I began to dance again
I may have been alone dancing at night, but I felt free, safe even.
'When I finish my words, the enchantment will commence, and for four whole days Camilo and Carlos will fight for her affections, the victor taking her for his own'
As the woman stopped speaking, the girl herself seemed to be in a trance, she stood motionless her eyes glued shut
'let the games commence..'
As I laid in my bed, a could hear a soft tune playing through my room.
I tried to follow the sound as it lead me outside, opening my shutters as I tried to follow the noise
As I pushed the wooden doors, disturbing a few birds on the railing, I looked outside for the source of the sound
My eyebrows furrowed together as I saw nothing no movement from anything
I looked down to see if could see anything, but there was nothing there
I looked around again trying to find something,...but nothing was there
'Guess i was just daydreaming...'
As Almaclicked her fingers together, the girl opposite her gasped for air, holding onto her chest
The older woman wasted no time in seeing if her spell ahd worked
She trapped Camilo, who had been hiding behind her, and placed him in front of the girl, who had now managed to catch her breath
'Um...h-hello y/n...the boy spoke nervously, his voice shaking as he did
The girl looked over to him confused, her head tilted slightly
'I'm really sorry but...
Do I know you....?'

Explaination for the picture above :)
The picture comes from a show on Netflix called The good Place. (Spoilers ahead)
In this scene Chidi is about to have his memory's of Elenor ( love interest) and his friends erased
Although we never see how/what happened when his memories left his head, I always pictured it a certain way
I always imagined it as Elenor slowly fading from his mind, and by the end he has no idea who she is
It's like the opposite of what happened when he had his memory restored, slowly gaining the memories of Eleanor back, until he has a full recollection of her.
