The Hell Within Me

Hello?

                            Chapter 1

"No, that's no it." I say as I pluck a string to my ukulele. I'm trying to tune it, I just got in for my birthday a few weeks ago and I thought it was about time I finally used it. I love music, and mostly I love making music, from writing songs to just humming to my favorite beat. I sit my ukulele on the floor while I lay back on my bed. "Ugh. Why do I have to be so lazy?" I ask myself. It's always a problem for me. I have good intentions, but I can never see to fully follow through. I hear a knock on my door. "Yes?" I say while leaning to look at the door. My mom pops her head in. "Hey honey, just letting you know dinners ready." She says with her usual smile. "Okay I'll be down in a minute." "Okay, dear." Then she leaves and shuts my door. I just sigh and look back to my ceiling. Something's wrong. I'm not sure what, but I just feel it in gut. I huff one last time and make myself get up. I walk downstairs to the dining room to see I'm the last one to dinner yet again. "Hey Alex honey, I left the napkins in the kitchen will you be a dear and go grab them for me?" "Sure, mom." I turned around and went towards the kitchen getting the napkins and heading back to the dining room. What I saw then terrified me. They were gone. My mom, my dad, my brother and sister, all gone. All the chairs look like they have been pushed back and there was no more food on their plates. Maybe they ran off somewhere? "Mom! Dad!" No reply. "Mom!" I said again while I walked around looking for them I was still in our dining room when I heard a loud sound come from outside. I run outside to see the sky a deep red orange color, and the clouds where thin and gray. Taking my attention off the sky I noticed that, none of our neighbors have roofs on their houses. A huge guest of wind passes by me causing me to turn back around. Not only do I see that our house has also lost it's roof, but there is a giant tornado a little behind our house. I have no words. I just stare in disbelief. I was just about to have dinner with my family. When did all this happen and why, how? This has to be a nightmare, no way is this real. I look back at the other houses to see they are nothing but rubbel and ash now. Our house quickly becomes the same. I start backing up and turning around, trying to see anyone. I don't. "Hello!? Anyone!?" I didn't get any replies and I was starting to get dizzy. I fall to the ground in a panic, huging my knees for dear life. I just started bawling my eyes out and saying, " Please wake up, please wake up, please wake up!" Then, I got a reply.
