"I do! Now be a quiet peasant and listen to me." I waited for her to respond, but no she kept quiet 'Good!' I internally smiled.

"So I started jumping from platform to platform and these shards were floating towards me and were showing me memories of my- childhood, yep memories of my childhood! Then I arrived at a point where the shards stopped and farther away there was this door all chained up and stuff! But before I got a chance to go near it the star platforms behind me started shattering! When I turned back around I saw that the other ones in front of me were gone, so I was thinking 'oh shit this is bad and stuff' then the one underneath me broke and I was falling back through the starry void again and then I smashed through and then I woke up." I was trying to catch my breath after delivering that long monologue.

I looked over at Sash, a blank expression on her face, her head slowly moving up and down, she was probably trying to process everything I told her. I mean I did leave out the fact that I heard their voices at some point but I'm sure that doesn't matter.

Then another thought crossed my mind, something Chubby had also said to me during her angry speech.

"Hey Sash?" Her eyes snapped back into reality and looked my way.

"Yeah kiddo?"

"Do you pi-"

The door suddenly slammed open and on the other side was a breathless Jaza. Who was currently leaning against the door frame desperately trying to retrieve the air that they had lost. Sash stood up and walked over to Jaza whom by now finally managed to catch their breath.

"Uh, Jaza you good?"

"Yeah? Yeah, just running around doing- things..."

"Want to elaborate on things?"

"No, I'm good thanks, anywho I'm here to tell you Chip wants you in his office."

"For what?"

"Didn't specify, just said he wanted to talk to you."

Sash let out an annoyed sigh and mumbled "I swear if it's about what I think it's about." She rubbed her temples and then left.

Jaza eyes followed her before snapping back to me and silently raised their hand and pointed towards her a confused expression etched onto their face.

I shrugged, "I don't know, probably because of earlier."

"What happened earlier?"

"I don't know really, we just got to Chip's office with Rainbow and suddenly the door just burst open! And out came an angry looking Sash and a kinda sad looking Chip."

"Probably got into a fight."

"A fight?"

"Yeah, they have those sometimes."

"About what?"

Jaza who shrugged and leaned against the doorway "Depends, sometimes they disagree on certain plans or killings and other times well, we don't really know from what Rainbow says when they and Sash have their night time conversations is that it's just personal things between the two."

I raised an eyebrow and got up to put on my shoes, I could feel Jaza's eyes were on my hooves. "Before you ask, yes I do have hooves not feet."

"Okay, and now I'm questioning why I would think you had actual feet."

"Probably because when meeting someone your first thought isn't 'wonder if they have feet' or 'wonder what their feet look like'."

"I don't know, I mean some people have foot fetishes."

"Let's not delve into that conversation."

"Yeah let's not."

"Jaza!" I heard a voice shout although this wasn't one that I recognised. I looked over at Jaza's face and could see a tiny tinge of pink spread across their cheeks.

"Uh y-yeah?" Jaza looked outside the doorway and towards the hallway.

I heard the slight sprinting of footsteps go down and approach the room.

When the figure finally stopped in front of Jaza, I made it my duty as the local analyzer to observe this new person. They had dark red hair, skin black like coal and horns matching the colour, their eyes were crimson red, small neon green freckles spread across their face like stars in the night sky. I noticed a long and slim tail behind them with red fluff matching their hair at the tip. They also wore a white tux with a magenta skirt which had a split at the side.

Definitely an intriguing person and definitely not human.

"We've hauled in the final load of flowers for this week and currently my staff are removing any of the old foliage, I just wanted to make sure that it was the correct type of flowers ever since that one time where my crew delivered the wrong ones. I apologise on their behalf!" She gently smiled.

Jaza's cheeks tinged a darker pink "U-um, you know it's okay, it wasn't your fault! You don't need to apologise to Amara." Jaza rubbed the nape of their neck. "Anyway can I help you with anything?" Jaza shot back similarly. I started wishing I had popcorn cause this was a show to witness.

"Right, I was looking for Chubby to make sure we had the right load but I couldn't find her. I was going to go to Rainbow but they were really busy serving customers and I didn't want to disrupt. So then I went to find you but to my dismay you weren't at the bar, therefore my final option was Sash and I was trying to find her office but in the end I found you!" Her smile grew and she slightly giggled. Now Jaza's cheeks were reaching a red colour, and started wondering how long they would take before they turned crimson.

"U-um yep you found me alright!" They made an awkward thumbs up and their ear flicked slightly in an attempt to cover the blush on their face. God this was a sight to see, who knew that the bartender hybrid had a crush. You never would have guessed it.

This simply made Amara giggle, guys, gals and my nonbinary pals we've reached crimson, next goal will they be able to reach a darker shade of red.

"So..." Amara started "Could you come along with me and make sure that we have the right load?" Jaza silently stared a few seconds before snapping their gaze back to me. I just gave them a sly smirk in response. I can see their pupils contrat sending silent threats.

"I-I-" They cleared their throat. "I'm sure I can check, I just need to confide with my co-worker real quick! You can start walking, I'll catch up to you!" Amara's face showed confusion before looking inside the room, her eyes widened ever so slightly when she saw me and her cheeks became a light purple hue.

"A-ah of course! Uh I'll see you in a few seconds." With that she started making her way back down the hallway. Jaza's eyes trailed slightly after her before reverting their attention back to me. I simply smirked.

"Who knew you were such a simp?" I said coyly.

"Shut up child! She might be able to hear you," Jaza hissed.

"Now would that really be so bad?"

"Yes! Now shush." I put my hands up in surrender. "Go find Rainbow and ask them what to do, I need to go-"

"Meet up with Amara~" I teased, their cheeks tinging red again "You better hurry to her she might already be gone." Jaza shot me a small glare flipping me off before turning to leave and rushed down the hallway. I chuckled slightly to myself and left to go find Rainbow.
