They hold their stare for a few seconds before, looking back down and speaking again.

"We are classified as the best casino because we know how to play our cards right, we know how to pick up on others, and we are aware of everything that is going on around us."

"..."

"..."

"No offence Jaza but, you didn't notice that I cheated."

"..."

"..."

"Okay so maybe we aren't aware of everything all the time." Jaza says sheepishly.

"But if you hadn't been caught right then and there, we still have cameras and microphones everywhere so sooner or later we would have caught onto what you had done." I started to get nervous at this, they had cameras and microphones hidden this whole time.

"I mean listen, when you go to the best casino in the region, challenge it's top players, you do your research beforehand so you can be more prepared." I looked at them with an utterly confused look.

"Are-are you seriously telling me how to successfully cheat in a casino?!"

"Perhaps..." Jaza gave a sly smirk.

"Well perhaps I should have met you sooner." I laugh, Jaza soon joins in.

"Yeah you should have scrub!" We sat there laughing for a minute straight before it slowly started fading away.

We go back to silence although this time it isn't awkward or scary, simply comfortable, but my busy mind needs to talk. I can't survive in this much silence.

"Sash told me yesterday that she got stuck in this job in a similar way to me, except that she wasn't going to be immediately killed so-" Jaza looks up at me, fork and knife in hand getting ready to eat their breakfast.

"So how did you get stuck here?" Silence falls over us, great it's gone back to being awkward 'Good job Miracle, smooth talker as usual.' I thought to myself, scanning Jaza's face for some kind of response even if not direct.

Yet to my dismay their face was totally neutral 'If only they could pull off the same face during a poker game they sure would win more. Unless they already win, granted I've been here for one day and have only been in one game with them whatever.' Snapping myself out of thoughts I look at Jaza as their mouth opens.

"Did you know I was quite the drinker?"

♢Jaza's: POV♢

My eyes slowly opened to be met with the early rays of sunlight, I turned over to my bedside table and saw that it was 6:48 am 'Great...' I sat up and stretched my arms and legs and proceeded to complete my morning routine.

Once fully dressed in uniform and all, I went downstairs and straight to the bar. Upon my arrival I found it to be littered with glasses, some empty, some half full and empty snacks trays from last night.

"How dare they not finish my drinks" I scoff as I start emptying them into the sink and washing them out preparing them for the next batch of guests.

The more I cleaned the more awake I became, I just needed time to wake up. I pause my cleaning in exchange for breakfast. I was feeling generous today and made plates of food for everyone... Even Miracle.

"Dumbass would've gotten killed last night if Sash hadn't stepped in." I grumble as I wait for the final few pieces of toast well... to toast. Once completed I spread the plates across the counter and gave myself a pat on the back 'Great job as usual Jaza, feeding your idiotic co-workers once again.' I think to myself a smug smile forming on my face.
