I was about to enter the Hospital Building when someone shouts my name and called me.

" Vida! " I turned around and it was Livy's aunt who called me

" Ate Vida? Is that you? " Livy got out of their car

" Hey! Yes It's me. " I approached them and helped her out of their car

" Na-miss kita Ate! " Livy said and jumped to hugged me

" I missed you too kiddo. How's your check up? " I asked

" Same as before but Dr. Edwards is looking for you. May sasabihin daw sayo about my case eh. " Livy said

" Oh, okay. I'm gonna talk to her tomorrow. It's my day off talaga kaso I don't feel to stay at my house so I came back here. " I said as I fixed her hoodie

" If that's the case, just come with us Doctor Marcos. It's Livy's birthday. " Livy's aunt said

" Hala talaga? Sayang hindi ako nakabili ng regalo para sayo. Tsaka Vida nalang po Tita hehe. "

" It's okay Ate. Tsaka kahit magbigay ka ng regalo sa akin, paano ko naman magagamit if bulag ako diba? " kahit kailan talaga ang nega nito

" Pinaglihi ka ba ng nanay mo sa sama ng loob? Look at the brighter side of the life! " I told her

" Ay, hindi mo ba alam Ate? Kaya nga ako bulag at nandito eh. " she said sarcastically

" Livy.. " her aunt stopped her

" Totoo naman kasi eh. I wouldn't have had such a difficult time if it hadn't been for her. " this is not the first time she talked like that about her mom

" Hey kid, no matter what your mom did, she's still your mom. Should respect her. " I said

" Tss. Ikaw ba Ate, hindi ka ba naiinis sa ginagawa sayo ng Mommy mo? She locks you up here in California even if you don't want to. " Livy questioned me

I sigh.

" She's my mother, Livy. She knows what's the best for me kaya niya ginagawa yung ginagawa niya ngayon. Hindi ko man alam yung dahilan niya but I knew from my heart that she's doing it out of love. " I said and smiled at her

" Tara na nga. Ayokong masira ang araw ko. " Livy said and and got into their car

" I'll just follow you because I had my car. " tumango naman yung tita niya at sumakay na rin

Olivia and I have only known each other for three months, yet I think we have known each other for the rest of our lives. She's been through a lot, and I hope she's still capable of dealing with it. I realized how fortunate I am to have my Mommy, since even though I was reprimanded and 'maldita,' she still loved me and tried to make time for me even when we were apart.

While I was driving, I decided to call my mom to say sorry dahil nga sa pagmamaldita ko sa kaniya a while ago. Her phone rang for a few seconds before she answered it.

When the call was answered, I immediately heard a loud scream.

" MARIA IMOGEN VIDA THERESE!! " It's Tati Irene who scream

" Go to hell f*cking a*shole! Such a stupid driver!" I shouted as I lowered the car window

" Oh, did I scare you honey? " Tati Irene said

" No, Tati. Alam mo naman dito sa Amerika ang daming loko-loko. " I said as I followed Livy's vehicle

" By the way Tati, why are you the one who answered? Where's Mommy? " I asked

" Oh, nasa kitchen sila ng Papa Bong mo. Pinagluluto nila ako " Tati chuckled that make me laugh

" Hahahaha. Prinsesang prinsesa na naman ang Tati ko. Ano niluluto nila Tati?"

" I'm cooking Pasta al Tonno! Paborito niyo 'to ni Irene diba? " Papa Bong said

" Pero! Mas paborito ni Vida itong Pinakbet Siopao ko! Hindi ba anak? " singit naman ni Mommy

" Sorry Papa Bong, but Mommy is right. 'Di ko ipagpapalit ang pinakbet ni Mom mapa pizza, siopao, siomai oh kahit sinigang na pinakbet yan paborito ko yan! " I said enthusiastically

" Kahit kailan naman wala akong laban dito kay Manang. Baka habulin na naman ako ng itak pag sumagot pa ako. " Papa Bong said na nagpatawa sa amin ni Tita Irene

" Uwi ka na kay Aimee please anak. " Mommy beg

" I'm going to my friend's house Mom. It's her birthday today but I promise uuwi na ako kay Tata tomorrow. " I said

" Ate oh.. Magusap muna kayo ni Vida at magaayos muna kami ni Kuya ng dining table. " I heard Tati Irene said

" Mom? I just want to say sorry for how I act earlier. I'm sorry for disrespecting you kanina. "

" It's okay anak. I know where you're coming from. And I'm sorry din kasi you can't come home pa sa ngayon. Hayaan mo anak babawi sayo ang Mommy. " a tear fell because I miss mommy so much

" No need to make bawi Mommy. I understand naman eh It's just I miss you so much. I love you Mommy. " after I said that, I heard my mom sniff

" Mahal na mahal din kita anak at sobra na kitang namimis. Gustong gusto kitang yakapin ngayon, Ricci ko. " Mommy's voice was rasping.

" Same here Mom. I'll still wait for your permission on letting me go home. I hope, mabilis lang Mom please. "

" Yes, sweetheart. Thank you for waiting anak. " napangiti naman ako. Still so lucky to have her in my life

" Gotta go na Mom. I'm here na sa house ng friend ko. Please send my regards to Papa Bong and Tati Irene nalang ha. I love you forever kahit maldits ako sometimes. " I chuckled

" Sure anak. Just make sure you're going home to Aimee ha? Magaaway na naman tayo niyan sige. I miss you and I love you too my Ricci. " narinig ko pang nag kiss si mommy bago ibiniba ang tawag

Having her as my Mom is the most wonderful thing that God gave me. She's truely a blessing to me and to my brothers.
