"Touché" They say, their eyes turning back to Jaza who is currently rummaging and grabbing things from the bar.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"My job." Jaza replies: Still mixing, adding and looking for ingredients.

"Why don't you take off your cloak? What are you, a dollar-store supervillain?" Chubby asks whilst munching on some food.

"Uh, I don't feel comfortable without it."

"If you're worried about what's hiding under there just remember you are talking to an angel, a demon, a part rabbit, and part zombie, person" Chubby says after swallowing her food.

My eyes glance from person to person as they wait for my response. Slowly I take off my hood, the fabric slides down to reveal my goat horns and ears.

I scan their reactions. Chubby's mouth is slightly open, Sash's eyes have widened, Jaza is a mixture of Chubby and Sash's reactions and Rainbow stands with the same neutral expression. I started fiddling with my fingers as I waited for their response, and Chubby began to talk.

"Awwwww your so cute!" She coos her eyes now bright and sparkly.

"That is quite adorable" Jaza adds and grabs glasses to put the drinks in.

"Meh." Is all Rainbow says before turning back to Jaza tray now in hand which logically I'm assuming is to go serve the drinks.

I turn to Sash, she smiles warmly and ruffles my hair,

"You fit right in here kid." Is all she says.

I feel a wave of reassurance as I hear those words, my appearance is something important to me, after all, most people give me harsh stares, and a confused look whenever I uncover my horns and ears.

"Hey didn't you say you were here to win?" She suddenly asks, her head turns to me.

"Um yeah?"

"Then let's get winning!" Sash exclaims as she pumps her fist into the air.

"So who are you going to play against?" She asks as we slide off our chairs.

"I'm going to go for the 'Five Flowers' !" I shout with excitement slightly bouncing on my feet. Chubby raises her eyebrows, sharing a smirk with Sash.

Quick explanation: the 'Five Flowers' are Everfall's Casino's best players; they are unbeatable and they all go by names of flowers, hence the name of the group. You've got Pink Tulip, Sunflower, Rose Bush, Cornflower and finally Poppy.

Those who challenge them typically walk home with empty pockets and a broken faith, luckily for me I have a few tricks up my sleeve. After all, this isn't the first time I've gone into a casino, challenged the top players, and returned home with a hell of a lot of dough.

As I snap out of my thoughts I am met with silence as all four of them look at each other when suddenly I am met with little giggles from none other than Chubby - who's failing to hide her smile.

"Y-you Th-think th-that- '' She finally exploded into hysterical laughter. Sash looked slightly concerned, Jaza was confused with a hint of amusement and Rainbow was just Rainbow with the same bored expression they always seem to wear.

"What's funny?" I asked innocently.

"Oh n-nothing! Just th-that you d-declared that- S-Sash you say I-I'm laughing too much?!" Chubby says in between laughs.

"You really just walked in here, talked to a few people and are now challenging the best players at Everfall?" She says though no amusement seems to be present in her voice.

"Yep!" I shrug.

"Then we'll be seeing you shortly at the playing table, I think you'll know which one it is." She walks away. Chubby and Jaza follow behind, whilst Rainbow goes off to deliver the drinks that have been ordered.

I stand there for a few seconds mostly in confusion as I play back her words in my head. When it suddenly hits me - and it's not just a light hit. More like 'being smashed in the face with a giant boulder' kind of hit.

As I turned to find the playing table, Sash was right.

I did know which one it was because all four of them were sitting there and one more person whom I didn't recognise must be the fifth flower.

He was slightly shorter than Rainbow, light brown messy hair, violet eyes that seemed inviting yet something deadlier was lurking behind them and tan skin he looked to be 30.

"So you're the one who thinks they can walk in here and challenge Everfall's Casino's best players huh?" He says his voice is smooth yet sharp at the same time.

I nodded my head slightly because my brain seemed to have forgotten how to speak. He chuckles.

"Well then let's play."
