"God knows how much I missed you, Cosette." 8 words lang ang sinabi saakin ng lalaking naka yakap sakin ngayon pero ang laki ng epekto nito. Ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko at hindi ko alam kung bakit.

"S-sino ka?" I asked para naman hindi sya stranger sakin diba?

His pov

"S-sino ka?" Ugh, dumating na yung time na hinihintay ko.

"I'm Justice Harold Santiago, the son of your mother's bestfriend. I'm sorry for what I did earlier." Blame my feelings Cosette.

"About that, ayos lang yun. Uhmm...may I ask you a question?" Medyo nag aalinlangan pa sya.

"Sure, go on."

"Paano mo ako nakilala? Why did you know me? I'm sorry for my questions, I just can't stop myself from asking. I'm confused."

"One at a time pretty lady, I might not answer your questions very well if you'll keep throwing non stop questions to me." She heaved a heavy sigh.

"Sorry, Paano mo ako nakilala? Why did you know me?" Pag uumpisa nya ulit.

"I know you because you are the daughter of my mother's bestfriend that's why we also became bestfriends. We first met when we are 5 years old, we met exactly at the park. We were so inseparable that time." I told her as memories flash through my mind, reminiscing the old times. I smiled bitterly.

"If that so, why can't I remember you?" Nagtatakang tanong nya. Sh-it, hindi ba nya alam na may amnesia sya?

"Hindi mo alam?" I asked for assurance.

"Am I going to ask if I know?" Pambabara nito.

"Very informal pretty lady, where are your manners? I'm asking for assurance, be pompous Cosette." Tinaasan nya ako ng kilay.

"Are you mocking me?"

"I'm not." Cool na sagot ko.

"If not, then why do I have this feeling that you are mocking me?" Pagtataray nya.

"You started it."

"I did not! Stop turning tables here, Harold." Inis na sabi nya sakin. She just called me by my second name! Geez.

"I'm not turning tables here, Cosette."

"Then stop acting like one!" She shouted.

"Easy, pretty lady."

"I'm sorry." Mahinang sabi nya.

"Uhmm...back to my question, why can't I remember you?" I took a deep breath.

"You've been diagnosed with selective partial amnesia, it's a condition where you are not able to remember selective person or persons that you've met. It's up to you if you'll allow yourself to bring back the memories you spent with them." Naguguluhan syang nakatingin sakin.

"W-what?"

"You have a selective partial amnesia and I bet you are suffering from it for 10 years." I answered. She's shocked.

"I don't---, are you lying to me?!"

"No, Cosette. I'm not lying to you."

"Paano? Bakit ako ganito? Bakit hindi ko alam?!" She bit her lower lip at tumingala, pinipigilan nyang umiyak.

"I can't, I'm not in the position to tell you. It's better if you'll just ask your parents." First blood, double kill.
