Ray place his hand on your shoulder, bringing you back to reality. You look at him, with a soft smile you nod.

"Aren't these labels..."

"Bookplates, yeah."
Emma hum at Norman words.

The four of you had gather as many William Minerva's books in the library, which is not that many, but kind of enough.

"It indicates who owned a book before it was delivered here."
Ray explain making you nod.

"And, what's this message?"
Norman ask looking at you and Emma.

"Take a good look!"
Emma exclaim as you hum. Norman then did as Emma told.

"They all look like the same owl to me..."
Norman stated, and then his eyes widen.

"These circles..."
Norman mutter, beginning to trace the circle that surrounding the owl.

"Morse code?"
He exclaim making you nod.

"Bingo."
Ray said, smiling.

"Where's the morse code book?"
Norman ask making you shake your head.

"No need to, cuz I've write down some of it. And I can translate the rest if you wanted."
You said taking out a piece of paper and handing it to them.

"Run, doubt, danger, truth. But this isn't enough to go by."
Norman read the words on the paper.

"Then how about these?"
Emma said coming back with another books.

"Harvest, Monster, Farm."
You translate the other books.

"Farm..."
Norman whisper, eyes widen.

"It's a message sent to us, hidden from the adults and demons outside. That much, I think we can handle."
Ray said as he look at the books.

"That much?"
Norman ask.

"Unlike her, I'm a cynic."
Ray said punching Emma's head making you giggle.

"Sure this Minerva guy may be on our side. But, we don't even know if he's still alive or dead. I think we shouldn't get our hopes up."
Ray stated making you frown.

"There you go again, giving up soo easily."
You said, swetdropping. He just huffed and look to the side.

"William Minerva. He's in the outside world, knows about this farm, and is trying to help us, indirectly as it may be."
Norman said making Emma cheer.

"We had an ally on the outside, and there's a chance we still do."

"Then that means, there may be human society out there as well."
You finish Norman making everyone eyes sparkle.

"These messages are only in Minerva's books. No idea when all of these bookplates were pasted in, but this one was 2015 at the earliest."
Emma said as she show us the published date.

"I see, have you figured anything else out? Like, do the books have something in common?"
Norman ask You and Ray who's looking at the books.

"I don't see it."
Ray said, you nod at his words.

"The books have different genres, and so are the publishers and years...So for now is a no."
You said scratching your head.

"But hey...Er, where are they?"
Emma interrupt looking for something. Just then she pick up two books and place it in front of all of you at the table.

"I don't know what these two books are saying."
Emma said looking at the three of you.

"I think one's a typical adventure novel, and the other's some weird mythological tale."
Ray said looking at the books.
