Hey Guys, so first of I feel like I should mention this is my first try and I thought I'd leave it as a fanfic.
Hope you all like it, I've tried to keep it as original as possible, but again it's a fan fiction, so yeah.

Percy Jackson woke on a lovely bright summers day to the sound of birds chirping.
However his day was far from lovely. His step-father Gabe Ugliano greeted him with a glare. Happy Birthday To Me, Percy thought gloomily.
His mood was suddenly lightened when his mother entered the room.
"Happy Birthday Dear!" said Sally Jackson as she entered the living room.
"Thanks mom" Percy replied a huge smile on his face.
But Sally had noted his gloomy expression earlier.
She smiled, "How about we go visit the aquarium today?" she asked.
