Cobra Kai: A Family Affair

Prolouge

It was a night of victories and losses, not just from the tournament, personal victories and losses too.

Johnny had reconciled with his son after 17 years but he lost the boy he thought of as a son to a stranger. The pain of which was enormous compared to the pain of Cobra Kai winning the bet and destroying any hopes of reversing the damage they had done in the 80s.

And after beating Samantha LaRusso in a clean fair fight at the tournament and receiving the trophy as proof that she was the best at something, Tory had all those feelings ripped away from her when she saw Silver paying off the referee but she didn't get to dwell on it for long as the honks of Kyler's expensive Jeep brought her back to reality. A reality were everyone thought she had honestly won and were now going to celebrate her victory.

Meanwhile, Robby, had lost his own final match along with his self respect from his quarterfinal match - Mr LaRusso had been right 'if you put passion over principle, you lose'. However, he finally won something he had been looking for his whole life - proof that his father really loved him and wanted a relationship with him. Now, he was going to Kyler's house to celebrate Tory and Cobra Kai's overall victory. Previously, his new relationship with Tory had been the closed off boy's biggest emotional achievement.

Lastly, Sensei Terry Silver believed himself to only be experiencing victories from that day and in his near future after ensuring that Cobra Kai would win the tournament and thus, the stupid bet that John had made with LaRusso and Lawerence. As well as, shedding his weakness by having John arrested for a crime that he himself had committed to remove the compromised Sensei from the equation. He felt higher than he'd ever felt on any drugs, like nothing could bring him and Cobra Kai down.

The next day, Daniel LaRusso was still reeling from his dojo's loss against Cobra Kai but was starting to see a way out of the snake pit they had landed in as he made progress in his personal relationships with Johnny, Anthony, and their latest ally, Chozen.
