Dazai Osamu was bored.

This came to no surpise to the members of the Armed Detective Agency. Dazai was always bored. He constantly grumbled and complained about the current lack of things to do. All the jobs that had been handed out were minor and nothing to keep him preoccupied for any sort of time.

So Atsushi suggested something. Something that sparked an idea inside Dazai's mind.

The weretiger had prompted that he go catch up with old friends. (To which Kunikida responded, "He has none.")

This wasn't entirely untrue. Dazai didn't really have "friends." Mearly acquaintances or colleagues. However, one came to mind.

His old partner, Chuuya Nakahara.

Now, Dazai knew whatever the case was Chuuya would NOT want to see him. He'd be pissed off at even the mention of Dazai's own name. This made him grin with anticipation as he made his way to Chuuya's apartment.

Not long ago he'd snagged the address from some old file...just in case. Now he had the chance to actually use it, if Chuuya was home of course.

Once at the ridiculously lavish apartment complex he managed to sneak himself inside through Chuuya's window. Which -to his surpise- was already cracked open.

He maneuvered his body through and landed inside the kitchen. It was dull without much decoration and fairly unused. The rings of dust proved that so.

Dazai tucked his bandaged hands in his coat pockets and hummed as he turned the corner to see Chuuya on a velvet red couch.

The ginger had an arm swung over the armrest and another holding a bottle of red wine. Several empty bottles were scattered around the broken room.

As Dazai took in his surroundings he noticed the TV was smashed along with the coffee table. Various things had been thrown around leaving them broken or out of place.

Dazai frowned.

He was hoping to come annoy Chuuya, not have to be a therapist.

"Wha' you want, 'Zai?" Chuuya's pale face was a bright red. He was very, very drunk. Dazai couldn't recall the last time he'd seen Chuuya this bad. Something had to have happened.

Dazai didn't move from where he stood,

"Well Short-Stack I came to cure my boredom however it seems I arrived at the wrong time." He didn't want to disturb Chuuya in this state, it was dangerous and foolish.

He turned to leave the apartment, this time heading for the front door.

The clang of a bottle caused him to pause.

"Leavin' already?" Chuuya sounded disappointed as he sighed, "Jus' like when you lef' the Mafia."

Dazai winced. He wasn't expecting that.
He'd tried to convince himself that Chuuya was happy he left, however they both knew how wrong that was.

"Can't have nothin'. Everybody leaves," Chuuya stood and grabbed another bottle off the table. Had he drunken all of these in one night?
