#DeathOntheNile'Have you ever loved so much; you would kill?'. It was a question she had asked me. I remember the chill that ran down my spine that night. A lump clogged my throat as struggled to breathe. I felt trapped within these walls of the steamer boat. So, we went out. I remember focusing on the Deafening gale bellowing and as the murk smothered the clouds till they were absent and obscured. I can still feel her hand caressing me gently as she shivered. I felt lighter and more relaxed that I did not feel as agitated when she repeated her question. Truth be told my love for her is and has always been my kryptonite as I would do far more then kill for her. I'd die for her. I would watch the world crumble in my grasp if she asked that of me and that scares me. I do not know what circumstances brought us to this very moment, but life seems easier with her here even if we are facing harsh predicaments. She is the fresh of breath air I need and crave. I had given her my answer to her question the night after. I was bewitched by her smile as her hand danced against my chest as she spoke once more asking me to prove it. To prove my love by fulfilling her request.'I need you to kill her. If you love me as you say you do, then you will have no problem proving your love to me.' These words engraved in my head. Truthfully I have held on to every word she has said as her voice is so delicate, soft, and enchanting that it's hard to ignore and forget. My heart had already decided on fulfilling her request. I remind myself I'm doing it for us, but I feel a part of me will no longer be the same after this. The blade she had given me weighs down my hand as I clasp tightly on it this very moment. I must familiarise myself; I must be brave and strong. I try and remember her blinding smile, everlasting promises, and the feeling of her soft hands in my grasp as she stares at me with reassuring eyes. If she believes in me then I shall believe in myself '
