~Tails Pov~
It's been two years since the whole thing started, I remember freaking out about Sonic and the others but Sonic always reassure me to keep calm and keep running. I don't remember much I just remember the loud bombs and the loud explosives and the screaming that people were doing. My mind is blurred but I remember clearly something of one thing, My brother was protecting me the whole way there. Though I'd love to protect Sonic but I didn't care at the point well, Enough talking let's start here.
I woke up when morning hits as I rub my eye, I look around as I groan
"Great back to this place" I sigh as I stand up, I wanted to believe it was all a dream and nothing real but nope!
I get up as I see Sonic "Hey bud I got you some food." He says as he handed me the bowl of soup
I sigh as I stare at the bowl sadly "Soup again?" He looks at me sad as he sighs and he sits beside me "I'm sorry bud but I don't have anything else.. Green Hills are completely ruined"
I look at him as I can see the sadness in his eyes I feel bad as I pull him into a warm hug "It's okay, I'm sorry I just miss green hills.." I feel him hug back
"Me to" He says as he also held me close "How's that eye coming along though? Does it still hurt?" I nod "Yeah it hurts, Silver did put that eye patch on my eye and it burns badly"
I feel Sonic gently take the eye patch off but all he can see is the dry blood "Can you open it?" He asked concerned, I shook my head as I try to open it but ends up hurting as I whimper as it stung and I feel Sonic let go of my eye patch gently
"I'm sorry bud.. I wish there was a doctor nearby" He says in a serious sad voice I look away "It's okay.. Hopefully it'll heal soon."
He nods but our ear twitches as we heard a noise of a leaf crunching, We pull out our guns and face towards the bushes "Who's there?!" Sonic said as he pulls me behind him but I didn't stand down as I kept my gun up
