Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you guys gotten a valentines because your boy don't.......sigh fucking fantastic!

In a long and confusing structures kneeled the remaining upper moon. Douma and Kokushibo who felt their masters piercing gaze stare them down

"So not only did we lose one but two of our upper moons?"

Muzan was beyond frustrated but also fearful, it was only a matter of time before that monster arrives to finish what his ancestor started.......

At demon slayer HQ

Sitting peacefully with his three tsugukos was tanjiro the sun pillar and his three students, Inosuke, Zenitsu and Genya resting near him. Genya was sleeping on his lap

Inosuke was currently sleeping while Zenitsu lay in front of tanjiro who was drinking some tea, it was a peaceful silence until

"Zenitsu?"
"Huh? Yes tanjiro?"
"Am sorry....."

Zenitsu looked confusingly at tanjiro until he continued

"I've heard what happened to your master......I loved him like as if he was your grandfather.....listen I know what you went through my boy.....you got people who care and love you.....come here"

Zenitsu was caught off guard, he hasn't told anyone about his masters death but yet it seems like tanjiro was seeing right through him.....Zenitsu felt those painful tears returning and came closer to tanjiro

Tanjiro lay a soft hugged around the teen and rubbing his head in a soothing manner, tanjiro knew what it felt like to lose someone, he lost his father at a young age and had to work to become stronger to provide for his family

Now his work payed off and was carrying his ancestor's legacy to finish off muzan, tanjiro stared at the boy who was sniffling and had his face in his chest

"Be strong Zenitsu.....that is why I choose you because your grandfather says you were special....he said you were his pride and joy.....I see now why he calls you that....."

Then whipping away his tears tanjiro used his ever so gentle smile, Zenitsu saw tanjiro and felt himself cheer up. To him tanjiro was almost like a father taking care of him, Inosuke and Zenitsu when they have no family

Times like these he felt as though tanjiro was his father, he was so kind and strong he was an inspiration to be stronger. He even took care of other demon slayer forming a bond like a father and son

Which is why many see him as a dad and why he calls people 'my boy' like a father would, Zenitsu eventually got tired out and feel asleep, tanjiro slightly gasp but then smiled

He carefully put Genya, Inosuke and Zenitsu onto futons and tucked them in, he walked out the room making sure to be quiet as to not wake up 'his boys' and stepped outside

Once outside his crow flew to him with a message

"Caw! Tanjiro! Go see ubayashiki!"

Tanjiro then patted his crow making him croak in enjoyment before flying off, tanjiro made his way to the ubayashiki estate, he walked for a good 8 minutes until arriving at the estate

He knocked on the front door and was greeted by one of ubayashiki's daughters

"Hello there, hinaki. Am here to see your father"
"Please follow me"

The girl then lead tanjiro to ubayashiki who was laying on his head, the disease was getting worse and tanjiro knew that, he kneeled in front of ubayashiki

"Tanjiro?"
"It's me, master. What have you called me for?"
"You and cough cough! T-that the war is ending....."
"Hmm...."
"And you know muzan will eventually try to kill me and everyone else.....b-but I have a plan....."
"Then please.....tell me"

Ubayashiki explained the plan, it was simply yet it was dangerous, tanjiro could end up dead if not careful enough but it was worth a shot after all since now everyone had high hopes

Tanjiro closed his eyes and bowed towards Ubayashiki

"Then I will.....master"
"Good.....so tanjiro.....when are you going to tell mitsuri?"
"Huh?"
"That you love her? I might not be able to move around but I can still catch what's going on...."
"Master I think you have this confused but-"
"-but what? You enjoy being around her, you like her smile, hair, scent, kindness, beauty, you love do you....tanjiro?"

Tanjiro remained silent, ubayashiki was right, he did love her but was to embarrassed and was busy to realized it, feeling warm and happy when he was with mitsuri......

"You may leave now, tanjiro"
"Alright...."

Leaving the estate, tanjiro walked back to his house having new feelings for someone.....

"Hay"

Turning around tanjiro saw obanai looking a bit angrier then usual, he had two training swords in his hands and tossed one to tanjiro who caught it

"We'll have a spar. Now."
"If you want...so be it"

The two pillars got into fighting stances, the air was quiet and their cloths flowed in the wind. Obanai was the first to attack charging towards him with his ts (short for training sword)

Tanjiro blocked it easily, obanai followed up with two fast strikes but just like before tanjiro blocked them. Obanai growled angrily before getting behind tanjiro in a second

His TS was close to hitting his head but then tanjiro dodged it, he breathed in and landed a fast strike on obanai's leg, the boy hissed in pain until getting smacked on the bottom of the jaw

With the momentum tanjiro's TS carried obanai's much smaller body up into the air and making him crash down into the ground hard, he struggled to get up and his arms shook

"No......"
"Hmm?"
"I.....will.....not.....lose.....her!"

Obanai gripped his TS and swung at tanjiro who blocked it, tanjiro decided to end the fight and threw a hard slash towards obanai gut, obanai grunted and was send flying back

He landed in the ground covered in bruises and scratches, he attempted to get up but found himself in a lot of pain, tanjiro saw the anger and determination in obanai's eyes fade into one of acceptance

"I lost....."

He said quietly, tanjiro had gone over to him and picked him up but his head remained down as he let out a deep sigh and looked towards tanjiro with defeated eyes

"You ok?"
"No.....I-I was too weak......I-if I can't beat you then I can't protect.....her"
"Who?"
"Mitsuri......I wanted to see how strong you are but....I can see you were going easy on.....sigh mitsuri always said she wanted to marry someone stronger....."
"Obanai...."
"Please let me finish......you are a kind, strong and smart.....you two would make a good couple..."
"Obanai....look at me...."

Obanai looked towards tanjiro, he had a soft smile and placed a hand on his shoulder

"You are a good person....no matter what you think you are a good person....obanai if I was mitsuri I would have pick you....thank you my friend..."

Friend..... obanai never really had any friends nor family, tanjiro seemed to bring out a lot in people even when they hate him. He can see why mitsuri loved tanjiro despite the two being blind to each other's clear attraction to each other

"Well..... see you around....tanjiro"

Waving him off obanai left feeling different.....for he has changed much to tanjiro's relief always feeling sad sensing obanai's anger and guilt, he needed to help him and now he did

Tanjiro continued on his way back home looking up at the sky seeing its already night, he knew the war was cling to an end but when?

Sorry for being late but had to work hard at school, plus I did most of this while at school so I spent my day working hard on both ends....sigh fuckin' hell
