Chapter ~ 6

Regina's POV:

A few hours had past after the call ended with the women that is taking care of Emma. She sent me her address and I'm now pulling up to the house, I'm so excited to see my baby girl again its been days.

I get out of my car and I walk up to the front door, I let out a shaky breath before knocking on the door, a few seconds later and the door opened revealing a blond women. "Hello Regina Mills I'm guessing" I nod my head "yes and Im guessing that you are the women taking care of Emma correct."

She nods her head and opens the door even more "please come in, Emma did eat but she went straight to her room after" We walk into the kitchen, I sit down and I sigh in relief "that's good, can I see her" I ask in a shaky voice.

She smile ands turns her head to the stairs "Emma, come down please" "NO I DON'T WANT TO AND YOU CANT MAKE ME, I ALREADY ATE NOW LEAVE ME ALONE INGRID" I hear Emma scream.

She sighs "Emma someones here to see you" "I DON'T CARE I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYBODY" I frown a bit "Emma its someone that I know you would want to see" she says and we didn't hear Emma scream back, instead we hear little footsteps coming down the stairs.

Once she enters the kitchen I immediately broke down, Emma looks up at me and a smile spreads across her face and she runs to me "MOMMY" I fall to the floor and I embrace her, "hi baby I missed you so much" I say kissing her head, I hear her start to cry and I hold her tighter " I missed you too mommy, so much" she whispers.

Once we pull away she stretches her arms up, I pick her up and she wraps her arms around my neck and snuggles into me. "am I going home" she says in my neck and another tear falls from my face.

"Not yet baby I'm sorry" her arms tighten around me "I heard you ate, I'm so proud of you my little swan" I say tickling her and she starts to giggle "mommy stop it" she says in a fit of laughter. 

I chuckle and she start to play with my hair, I kiss her forehead and she snuggles into me. I sit back down on the chair and I set Emma down on my lap. She lays her head back and starts to play with my fingers, I smile at her then I look back at Ingrid.

"She really likes you huh" she asks looking at Emma" "I know my mother bribed you" she looks up at me shocked "wh-what are you talking about she didn't-" I shake my head "don't even try to deny it, my mother told me" she sighs.

"Well you were right, she did" I shake my head "and why on earth would you accept it" she shrugged "I needed the money" "and you would be spending it so you can take care of a child" I say starting to get mad, Emma looks up at me and I smile at her.

"Look I'm doing what your mother asked me to do, so I don't see why your complaining because your mother said that you would love the idea of Emma gone" Emma looked up at me with tears in her eyes "you wanted to get rid of me" she says as a tear falls from her face.

I cup her cheek "Emma listen to me, when I first found out that I was going to take care of you I admit that I didn't like the idea, but after getting to know you I started to see you as my baby girl, yes at first I didn't want you but now I love this little girl in front of me, do you understand" I say softly.

A smile appeared on her face and she hugs me, I kiss the top of her head and sigh "I love you so much baby alright" I says softly in her ear "I love you too mama" I smile and she rests her head on my shoulder.

"so since you only want money then how about I give you some money I exchange for me to take Emma home with me" I say clearing my throat. " how much we talking" I sigh and pull out my check-book "will $10,000 do" her eyes go wide "you seriously want to lose that much money just to get a kid back" "she's not just a kid, she's my daughter" I say looking down at a smiling Emma.

"Ok deal" I smile and I write the check and give it to her "she's all yours" a sigh of relief escapes my mouth and I stand up putting Emma on the floor "go pack your stuff baby...we're going home" I say tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. She smiles and immediately runs upstairs to get her stuff. 

A Few Minutes Later...

Emma comes down with a smile on her face and her backpack, I pick her up and smile "ready to go my little swan" she nods happily and we walk out the door, I put her in the back seat and I kiss her head.

I get in the drivers seat and I start to drive to my home, our home.
