31. Lowest point

"I'm going to America after graduation." Woozi said out of nowhere.

Cheol looks at him in surprise. For some reason, he doesn't like the idea.

"You're going to study more abroad?" Cheol slowly asked.

"Yeah. I didn't want it at first because I don't want to be apart from you guys." Woozi said. "But I need to do this so things will be easier to calm down." He added.

"Woozi, you don't have to do that." Cheol tried to stop Woozi.

"No, Cheol. I do. I do need to do it." Woozi quickly countered.

Silence.

"Why? You will miss me?" Woozi teased.

"As if. Go! So there will be fewer people to nag me around." Cheol acted along with him and they both chuckled.

"You better call us." Cheol said as he shifts his eyes to the other people.

"You guys are waste of data." Woozi joked.

The next day, Yuna is with her friends at campus while walking. They're talking about the wedding such as dress, food, etc. While walking, one of her friends notices Mingyu who is busy texting with someone.

"Oh, that's Kim Mingyu, right?" One girl asked.

"Yeah, he is. He's hot, right?"

"Totally. Too bad, I don't have the same class with him."

"I have one and he looks like a nerd. He's very active during classes and always gets high to perfect scores in exams."

"That's too bad that he's a nerd."

"What? If the nerd looks like that, I don't mind dating him."

"Do you guys imagine if he's not wearing any of those glasses? I bet he's handsome."

Yuna's friends talked while glancing at the tall guy who is smiling while texting somebody. Yuna smirked because they don't know that the guy they were talking about is gay.

"But why does he keep smiling to his phone?"

"Do you think he has a girlfriend?"

Yuna's ear become active hearing what they said. She looks at Mingyu and squints her eyes. She suddenly calls Cheol but he didn't answer after three attempts. This made her think that Mingyu is chatting with Cheol.

Yuna suddenly had an idea. "Do you guys know that I'm close with Mingyu?" She asked and her friends began asking her things about the puppy.

"I can ask him if he has a girlfriend." Yuna suggested.

Her friends enthusiastically agreed and supported her. Yuna stands up and walks towards Mingyu. Her smile fades as she gets closer to the tall guy. She stopped in front of him and looked around to see her friends.

Yuna taps Mingus's shoulder. "Can we talk?" She asked.

Mingyu hesitated at first but involuntarily agreed. Yuna leads the way and Mingyu follows her which made Yuna's friends confused about where are they going.

Yuna decided to stop at the back of a building. She immediately looks at Mingyu who is confused.

"Are you still talking with Cheol?" Yuna directly asked.

"No. The last time I talked to him was yesterday." Mingyu answered.

"What you guys talked about?" Yuna asked.

"I don't have to tell you everything." Mingyu defended.

"Why? Because you're hiding something?" Yuna said which made the tall guy shocked. "Why? Are you guys planning to ditch me again?" She asked as if she's drunk.

"What? No! We didn't talk any of that." Mingyu answered in a very confused expression.

"There's one thing that can prove that." Yuna said. "Your phone." She put her hand in front of him as if she's waiting for him to put his phone in her hand.

"This is my phone, my privacy. It's not yours, it's mine!" Mingyu exclaimed.

Suddenly, Yuna slapped the tanned guy in the face.

"How dare you to think like that? When you even tried to take Cheol from me." Yuna said while breathing heavily and her eyes are swelling. "He's mine, not yours!" She exclaimed.

Yuna suddenly pushed Mingyu to the floor. Because of so much crying, Mingyu lost most of his energy that's why Yuna manage to push him down.

"Don't you ever lay a single finger or get close with Seungcheol." Yuna warned. She looks at his whole body. "You're a disgusting living creature." She said and left the scene.

Little did they know that Hoshi witnessed all that happened. He wants to protect his best friend but he thinks that Mingyu himself doesn't want anyone to see him being downgraded like that. He's probably in his lowest point and the hamster knows that his friend will feel embarrassed if anyone saw what happened.

Hoshi took some steps away from the scene but suddenly stopped. Tears starts to flow from his eyes yet these tears are not because of sadness, they're out of madness.
