They come back out a few minutes later dressed in something that can't even be classified as an item of clothing.
The dresses are barely long enough to cover their a*ses and Joy's has a slit up her left thigh to just under her hip Dai has the same slit but on her right thigh the dress has a pretty low straight across neckline with spaghetti straps Dai's dress is a shimmery holographic gold material and Joy's is a shimmery holographic red material well at least I know their favorite colors
"Well?!" getting impatient for my opinion I pull my knee to my chest and resting my left arm on it.
"You look like hookers," I say putting it plainly
"Well yeah the goal is to get have fun and laid," Joy says sitting on the bed next to Dai
"There's a difference between looking s*xy and looking desperate, you look desperate," I say not sugar coating anything I say they look at each other
"Yeah we guess," They sigh
"But we each only have one dress left so you better like it then we are going to help pick your outfit," Joy says standing up and pointing at me
"K, now go change," I say as they scurry into the bathroom.
Six minutes later they both come out of the bathroom wearing dresses that are just above knee length with circle skirts and a v-neck neckline with halter top straps that tie at the back of the neck. The dress doesn't have sleeves rather works kinda like a halter top dress? Tying around the neck and the skirt connects in the lower back but it all looks like one piece of fabric. Dai's is white with a yellow daisy pattern on it Joy's is black with a poppy pattern on it
"Well what do you think?" They ask nervously
"You look perfect," I say
"Really?!" They shout
"Loud," I say covering my ears
"Sorry," they say in unison
"Now go get undressed so I can do your makeup," I say getting up to grab the makeup kit on the bed
"But you said you don't wear makeup so how would you know how to do makeup?" Dai asks
"I used to wear makeup in the past but it was more out of necessity than choice," I say pushing Dai into my desk chair 'cause she's the first one to finish changing.
She sits down.
I open the makeup kit and start with some contouring and pale gold eyeshadow then eyeliner and waterproof mascara and finish with blush.
I then do Joy's makeup but her eyeshadow is dark red
"Alright now we have to pick your outfit," Joy says jumping out of the seat
"Come look at what we brought," Dai says waving me over
"No skirts and no pants, shorts only," I say walking over
"Well in that case we got nothing," Joy says sighing dramatically
"Why do you have to be so picky," She asks
"Well you can look in my closet if you want, it's not I wanted to go in the first place," I remind them
"WAIT we can look in your closet?!" They yell in shock
"Yeah just don't mess anything up," I say, they run over to my closet and throw the door open
"Whoa it's huge," they say
"Yeah one of the many perks of not having a dorm mate, more room," I say walking in after them.
I hear Joy gasp and turn to look at her "Liar you do have dresses," Joy says holding up black and pink spaghetti strap dress that I accidentally packed and didn't see the point in taking it back home
"I said I don't wear dresses in public not that I didn't have them," I say taking the dress and stuffing it back into some forbidden corner of my closet never to be seen again
"What about wearing this," Dai says from the back of the closet she's holding up a white tank top with a green and blue mesh t-shirt and a pair of high waisted cut off blue jean shorts that fade from blue to teal to white and a pair of stylish black high heeled combat boots
"Yeah that should be fine I mean the heels are only two inches, hey what shoes did you guys bring," I ask the twins
"We brought some of our high tops why," Dai says handing the clothes and shoes to me
"I figured you would bring some ridiculous high heels or something and I would have to share my shoes," I say walking out
"No we don't usually wear super tall high heels," they say closing the door behind themselves
"By the way what shoe size are you?" Joy asks as she heads to the bathroom with Dai so they can change
"Women's size 5 (about 8.5 inches) but I sometimes get shoes too big for myself and shove some paper or a silicone mold in the toe so it fits," I answer
"Wow your feet are pretty small," they say as the enter the bathroom and close the door.
I take off my hoodie and shorts and put on the outfit Dai picked for me I just finished buckling the boots when the twins came out of the bathroom
"K now do you know how to do hair?" Joy asks
"Yeah do you want me to do yours?" I ask
"Yes please," she answers by the time we've finished getting ready it's already 9:20
"Are we all ready to go?" I ask
"Yup," the twins answer the top half of their hair is pinned back with two clips that I never wear. My hair is in a simple fishtail braid down my back which is held by a blue and green tye dye scrunchie.
As we get to the door I see an envelope with a silver wax seal. I pick it up and break the seal. The location is on the paper inside "Lunar fountain clearing," It says
"Am I supposed to know where this is?!" I ask
"No but we do," Joy and Dai say
"It's about thirty five minute walk from the dorms," Dai says opening the door we walk out and I lock the door behind us.
