alternatively . . . annisa marcher doesn't have the cleanest record, so it's no surprise when she's garnered herself the role of number one suspect in an ongoing murder investigation by a simple matter of wrong place, wrong time. nor is it a surprise when mindy meeks-martin seems dead-set on proving that she's guilty, putting her extensive horror movie knowledge to test.
what is a surprise, though, is that the amateur detective and the suspected nutcase have more in common than they think, and all it takes it a bucket of blood to finally bring them together.
