(A/N: Hey! This is my first write up of Wattpad You can call me Tari. As you may have known, I really like Anime and similar things of the ilk. I've watched Durarara!! (Both seasons) and I've developed a crush on Izaya (the color of them eyes!) and I like his attitude... which kind of suits mine. This story showcases the main character as reader (you... yes, YOU darling!) but the displays the behavior of the author (me... yes darling me!) because I can't think of anything more fitting than my hyperactive-ness and Izaya's masochism... it fits so very perfectly! Anyways... read on!)

There is a new murderer in Ikebukuro; oh yes, just when the citizens of this city thought the place could not get any more perilous than it already is. People call them the "Assassin," this murderer who I'm speaking of.  Yes, just the "Assassin." Nobody knew what else to call them. This "Assassin" always wore a long, black shawl which went down their backs and had a yellow hood stitched on top with yellow thread. Their shawl also had a pair of yellow long sleeves and buttons up front (blatantly yellow) which were shaped like roses. The hood always hid their faces and the shawl hid their entire body; therefore nobody actually knew whether this "Assassin" was a male or a female.  People only knew of one fact: this new murderer was very ferocious and brutal.

Few hours ago, it had been broadcasted on television of Ikebukuro that this unknown figure (which looked much like human with feet, arms and a head) had mysteriously appeared in the surveillance cameras which were placed all around in an apartment complex late one night. It was covered with a black cloth, yellow hood and sleeves stitched along with it. The silhouette had been caught sauntering in the dim lit building at exactly 12 am and had used the stairs up to the fifth floor. The cameras all focused on following this figure throughout its trip across the corridor of the fifth floor and at one point; it abruptly stopped in front of a door right at the end of the hallway. The center of the wooden door had writing on it, "5P" labeled with gold metal. The eerie figure then just stood there, motionless, facing the door "5P" for about half an hour; as if it was trying to comprehend something out of it; but of course, this half an hour of gaping-at-a-door activity had been obliterated when this was shown on TV up until the moment when the figure moved its arm a little. Soon after a few seconds, the figure placed its hand in a part of its shawl that seemed like a pocket, taking out a dainty, shimmering yellow knife. It then forcefully shoved the knife through the lock of the gold doorknob of "5P" and then twisted it, earning a silent click and entering the abode.

Not much had been shown after that. "It had been in there for an hour," explained a young female news reporter on TV. "And then it finally came out and what we've seen was horrifying; its sleeves... they were covered in blood!" An image had been displayed on the TV screens of all the households in Ikebukuro: the same figure from before, standing in front of the door of "5P" with the yellow fabric of its long sleeves tainted with different hues of oranges and reds. Within a few seconds, the news reporter came to view and said, "This had happened a few days ago and many of the authority have attempted numerous times to enter the apartment but for some reason, the door wouldn't open even after using the master key of the police. Detectives and other such have began investigations to find out who this is and what they want. For now, we are going to go to Takeshi Ryoto for our news on sports."

"Thank you Francesca Leflore. Welcome to the sports segment of 666 news. Recently..." Izaya turned the television off, not willing to listen to anything which was out of topic from what he was thinking right now. The sun was setting and his large window let out a sharp color of orange. Izaya was sitting on the couch in front of the TV, looking up at the ceiling as he leaned back; eyes narrow and lips curved to a wicked smirk. "Namie," he called out to the woman who was organizing his books. "What?" she replied with her typical monotonous voice. "Let's go out for sushi!" Izaya said in a cheery voice and laughed a bit, still looking at the ceiling, "Let's go out for sushi and talk about interesting things." "Exactly what are we going to talk about, Izaya?" Namie asked, not that curious to know. "All the recent events that have been happening in this city," the informant said, setting his eyes upon his secretary who was hovering above him, still organizing the shelves, "About this murderer... they seem very interesting!" He rapidly got up from the couch and strolled towards his desk and chair, sitting on the leather swiveling furniture, waiting for an answer. "I don't care about this new murderer. As long as they stay away from Seiji, I'm perfectly fine," Namie said and turned to look at Izaya, who was spinning slowly in his chair, "If you want to say anything about Seiji, then say it."

Izaya chuckled, "You're brother seems to be very close to Mika Harima now. I wouldn't be surprised if they got married... Now wouldn't that be heartbreaking for you!" He laughed and spun around in his chair more swiftly. This alerted Namie a bit, her eyes growing wide as her expression earned a devious smirk from His Highness of Trollness. She shook her head slightly, getting her mind off Izaya's aforementioned statement.  He's only messing with my head for his own amusement; don't let him get to you, Namie.

Izaya swiveled his chair from Namie to his computer, which was already turned on. Within a few clicks of his mouse, he had created a file named "Assassin" and had saved this file in a flash drive. He then took a strip of paper and wrapped it around the device, writing "A" on it with a pen and taping it. His smirk grew even wider as he held the flash drive above his head and declared, "I have a feeling, Namie, that this Assassin will be a very interesting human being indeed! Hmm... Maybe they aren't human, but so what! ~ At least I get to toy around with it for a while!" He spun on his chair, laughing hysterically like a clown and kept exclaiming,"I love humans!" every now and then, leaving Namie to gaze at him with her cold expression.
