Chapter 3:
I woke up to the sound of Wilson complaining about his numb leg. We are here, we are in Victoria. It took forever to leave the airport. "Okay, everyone got their suitcases?" Mum asked. I could tell she was stressed. "Of course we do Mum. Come on. Let's go, I really need to get some sleep!" I continued to complain as we were heading to the car Mum's company provided us with. I sat in the seven seated car, looking out the window.
All the houses were so far away from the supermarkets. This was totally different from the way we lived. "I know you kids aren't enjoying this. But if you want to have a grumpy mood, you're just making your lives harder. Dad said as we passed by many houses. "Oh look Chris! There's the high school" Mum pointed as we passed a large beige coloured building. I guess that was my new school.
When we arrived to our house, I was really impressed. You could see the house was expensive, the building was coloured in brown tones . I had to admit, it was quite worth it moving. "Everyone, Dad and I have already assigned you rooms, so now you can go find them and then we'll go to the shops for some groceries." Mum said as we walked into the house.
The floors were really glossy and everything had a modern chic touch to it. There were many large windows. The house almost looked like Edward's house in Twilight but a lot larger. From the kitchen, I could see a basketball court. "Oh Mum! There's a pool!" WIison laughed as he and Dad bolted around the house, each time yelling out "awesome" whenever they saw something now
Already, everyone has adapted to this major change.
