Baby Bella

Chapter 2

Rosalie's POV:

It has been a few months now since we have had Bella and what a few months it has been. From adjusting to getting her on a sleep schedule to feedings and more but thankfully none of us sleep so the sleeping arrangement wasn't too hard if she woke up in the middle of the night. Bellas newest accomplishment is that she is walking and can say a few things not many but she is getting there and we will soon be there eventually. Raising a baby is all I have ever wanted and it has been fun and the experience that I have wanted my whole life even if she isn't biologically mine she is important to me.

Today is her first birthday and we have been decorating all night to make sure that everything looks perfect for her. She wont remember it but we will and it is going to be an amazing memory that we will have for the rest of our lives. Right now I was fighting with her to get Bella into a sundress and white flower sandals that we bought her to wear today for her birthday. The dress was light pink and a bit poofy at the bottom it was Alice's choice but I thought it was a cute outfit as well. Finally getting it on her I grinned and picked her up into my arms.

" Ah-ha! Mummy got you!" I said and Bella giggled and her laugh was like music to my ears. She cuddled up to me even more and I kissed her head and these were the moments I enjoyed with her.

" Rose you cant hog her forever." Alice called upstairs and I laughed.

" Yes I can she's my daughter." I said finally bringing her downstairs where everyone was waiting. I placed Bella on the floor on her feet holding onto her little hands to help her get stable. Once I could tell she was stable I let go of her hands and in no time she wobbled over to Esme. Esme picked Bella up and I smiled watching them both share that special bond together it was adorable how much Bella interacted and connected to everyone.

" Oh Emmett.... She is growing way too fast I wish it would slow down." I felt his arm wrap around my was it and he pressed a kiss onto my forehead.

" I know babe but we will always cherish these moments." He was right we will always have these moments and be able to remember them. We already have two books filled with photos of Bella since the day we got her as I wanted to remember everything.

" Alright I can not wait no more!!! It is present time!!" Alice said excitedly and went and took Bella from Esme. Bella had a ' save me' look on her face as Alice carried her into the living room where all of the presents were sitting. I went into the living area with Emmett and we sat down on the floor to help Bella open up her presents and we had Jasper recording and taking photos of it all and would switch.

"First is from mummy and daddy. Daddy got you another present as well but we will open that one last." I said smiling as I grabbed the stack of presents from me and Emmett for Bella. We took out time opening them and showing her the clothing and little baby dolls we got for her as well as learning toys. Then we switched and let Alice and Jasper take photos with Bella while giving her the gifts as well from them which of course was a lot more clothing and some baby books to read.

"This one I saved from my mother she gave it to me on my first birthday." Esme said smiling as her and Carlisle helped Bella open it. What was in the wrapping was a beautiful silver jewelry box and Bella looked at it so marveled. A bunch of 'Aws' went through the room and I could not believe Esme would pass that down to Bella it was so thoughtful. Next up was Edward as I said the other present from us we wanted to be opened last we had to bring her outside.

"Alright Bella this one is from me." Edward said and he sat down with her and she crawled right into his lap. The connection they had made me worried that when she got older it would be more then family and I know she isn't blood related but we raised her. I watched him help her tear open the paper and open the box and there was a necklace in the box. It was heart shaped with a bunch of diamonds on it and I smiled slightly seeing that. Bella grabbed the necklace and giggled and I looked at Edward then her and knew we had this moment captured on film and photos and he put the necklace on her.

" Alright enough with this mushy stuff it is time for daddies amazing gift." Emmett said and I chuckled slightly.

Emmett POV:

I went and scooped up Bella and took some keys out of my pocket and held it out to her. Watching as she took the keys frowning and then shook them clanking them together and started to giggle. Looking at Rose I could see her in such awe and happiness and it made me feel happy as well. We were raising a baby together something that has always been her dream to do. Kissing Bellas cheek once before carrying her outside to the garage where a tiny red sports car was revealed with a bag of presents inside of it as well.

" Happy Birthday baby girl!" I said excited as I saw her eyes light up and I let her down onto her feet and watched as she ran to the car. We all followed her and kept an eye on her as she climbed into the car giggling and beeping the horn.

" Look Bella." Rosalie said as she helped take stuff out of the bag and held out a leather jacket to Bella that said 'Daddys Girl' on it.

" Lets get this on shall we over that beautiful dress." Rosalie said helping Bella get on the jacket and then pulled out the sun glasses for her and put them on her. Bella started to grab at the glasses not really a fan of them at first and she looked at them then at me then put them back on her face. I chuckled at that slightly as did everyone else watching her do that. She was very curious and you cant deny that at all its just how she is and we are in for trouble as she gets older.

"Look at you!" Edward said going over and I watched with my arm around Rose's was it as he kept beeping the horn with her and playing with her. They had a cute connection that was for sure and it scared me as well that she may be Edwards soulmate and we could lose her when she's older. But that was years to come not really important to worry about now just enjoy the time that we have with her this young and make good memories. We sat out there for a while letting Bella play with her car and eventually we knew we should get her inside and get cake going screw actual food she can have dinner after her dessert. She was whining as we told her she had to come inside and so we told Edward to scoop her up. Next thing we knew she had bit Edward as hard as she could and we all started to laugh at that.

" Well she sure is a vampire." Edward said jokingly and Rose shook her head.

" Just a joke babe."

" I know..." She said as we all headed back inside with Bella and the family.

Rosalies POV:

Going into the kitchen I got out her cake and put one candle in the middle of it to signify she is one years old. I did not know what flavor to get so I got vanilla and chocolate cake mixed together with pink frosting on top. The cake was decorated with butterflies and flowers on the top of the cake and 'Happy Birthday Bella' written on the cake as well. Smiling as I picked up the cake and carried it into the dining room everyone started to sing happy birthday. Bella was so excited giggling waving her arms around as me and Emmett together placed the cake in front of her.

" Make a wish Bella." Esme said and me and Emmett helped blow out the candle with Bella and everyone cheered and clapped. Bella was blabbering away and looking at the cake as if not sure what to do with it.

" Try a bite Bella!" Alice exclaimed excited and Bella smashed her hands into the cake and giggled and then started to lick her fingers. Everyone cheered again clapping and laughing as she went to town smashing the cake and making a mess.

" Mamamama" she said holding a piece of cake up to me and I took a bite even though we dont eat and I pretended to like it.

"mmm yummy." I said and she giggled and slapped her highchair over and over again with her messy hands. The rest of the day was spent watching movies and letting her play with all of her toys until she tired her self out. Carrying her up to the room and setting her in the crib kissing her head I looked over at Emmett.

" Today was perfect."

" It really was babe." He said smiling and kissed me once.
