Chapter Fifty Nine

Start from the beginning

"But, I was talking with somebody telling them that story and they were joking saying it was tough crowd. Then we just ran with that."

The both of us continued to talk, eventually listening to music again then wrapping up the first episode.

This wasn't the way I wanted to start off my first episode. I wanted to be in a space with Mike and everyone else involved. Maybe even a small camera crew to capture the moments, but Covid wasn't getting any better so Apple Music advised against that.

Either way, I was grateful for this opportunity.

Getting up from my seat, I organized my table before making my way. to the living room where Stormi and Roman were.

Seeing the two sitting peacefully on the couch, Roman's head resting in Stormi's lap. I had to snap a picture.

They were so cute man.

And well behaved... Besides the other day with the couch.

But most toddlers were up and running 24/7. These two were so chill...

Of course they had moments when they needed to get energy out, but if I turned on Trolls they would be still for the whole movie.

And that's just enough time for me to get work done and not have to worry that they would burn the house down.

"Help me."

"With what?" I asked Stormi. "Oh, ok." I laughed as the girl pushed at Roman's head so I immediately knew what she meant.

"I thought you liked cuddles?" I picked up Roman and sat next to Stormi.

My son now in my lap while my arm wrapped around Stormi, in which she rested against my side.

"What y'all wanna do right now?" I asked the toddlers, running my hands through both of their curls. "Go to the park?" There was no reaction from either one of them. "Color?" It was silence once again.

"You wanna swim."

"Yea! les go swim again." Stormi yelled and damn near jumped off of the couch.

"Rome you wanna swim?" The boy nodded before sliding off of me, following behind his sister through the house.

Since Stormi was older, she made it up the stairs and to her room quick as hell. But Roman on the other hand was left in the dust by his sister.

When I turned the corner to catch up with the two he was in the middle of the stairs struggling.

"Come on twin." I swopped him up then made my way to Stormi's room.

Getting her changed first before doing the same with Roman.

After snapping another quick photo of the two, I let them get in the water.

My pool had long steps so I just let the two play there since the water went no further than their knees.

After only being in the pool for around five minutes, I saw lights turn on in the house signaling that Kylie had gotten back.

And when the girl made her presence known by opening the sliding door and stepping outside, Stormi quickly got out of the pool.

"Be careful." I said, watching as she ran to engulf her mother in a hug.

Kylie then picked up the girl and talked with her. But from where I was I couldn't hear fully until they got closer.

"Am I invited to this pool party?" Kylie asked Storm, putting the girl down then picking up Roman.

Showing the boy the same love she did too Stormi.
