Chapter one: Nessa

Start from the beginning

I stop and pull off my headphones and say in a sarcastic sugary sweet voice "I am soooo sorry I guess I didn't notice you there I mean you do kinda blend into the background," I bat my lashes innocently while twirling a strand of hair that I left loose from my bun.

I drop my fake smile and go back to my resting b*tch face and flip them off and continue to my car. they stare after me dumb founed.

What an insufferable trio I think to myself. Yeah I was probably being petty but I have no patience for bullies and mean girls any more been there done that.

I cross the gravel driveway and enter the parking lot unlocking my car and getting into the driver's seat. I arrive at my apartment going down to park in the underground garage and take the elevator up to the top floor penthouse. I unlock and open the door.

After closing it I sigh and cover my face with my hands leaning against the door deep breaths I tell myself. Inhale, exhale. I take a deep breath in and release it. I uncover my face and pull myself up right.

I go down the hall to my room after digging in my closet for a minute I find a duffle bag and backpack for my things. I pack clothes and shoes, toiletries and whatever other accessories I think I might need including sunglasses.

I go into the kitchen and open the fridge and start packing all the food in the fridge and freezer. I should be able to put all my food into the fridge at the dorm. Principal Ashford did say that the school supplies breakfast, lunch and dinner. I open the overhead cabinets and start packing all my snacks too. After I have everything I need, turn everything off and get all my things into my car it's around 1P.M. and I'm ready for lunch.

I drive to a nearby café and order a sandwich and soup after I eat and pay. I make my way back to campus. It must still be lunch time because there are a lot of people sitting in groups eating or just milling about chatting to friends.

I get out of the car and grab the bags with food out of the back seat. I shut the door and lock the car and make my way to the dorms.

I start hearing whispers no doubt that clamor of harpies already spread around a bunch of rumors and lies. HA harpies well the legends talk about the three harpies sisters.

I shift the bags so I can put my headphones on to block the whispers as the music starts playing I start to feel calmer. I enter my dorm suite and set everything down on the counter and start unpacking the food then go back for non perishable items. I always put my headphones on so I won't hear their whispers... their whis..pers...

you're lucky you know if it had gone forward or a bit more right you could have ended up paralyzed or dead, forward a shard could have pierced your left external jugular vein and right the glass could have sliced some of the nerves in your spinal cord, ha look at the freak she probably tried to take her life so she wouldn't have had to deal with the guilt any more. Look here comes the snapping turtle, don't get too close, she may snap and push you down the hill hahaha, so how did you get glass in your neck in the first place? Does it matter? Of course it matters. I fell. No dad hit you with his broken bottle. WHAT THE HELL GRAY?! Sorry, I touch the part of the bandage that covers my wound, it's fine,I'm fine.

I rub the scar on the back of my neck absentmindedly, that was almost eleven years ago time sure flies I think to myself as I reach my car, I take the backpack and duffle bag out of the trunk as I walk back to the dorms.

I notice some people off to the side trying to get my attention I pretend not to see them as I enter the dorms and pass the common room everyone in there stops talking to look at me as I walk by this time I stop and glare at all of them out of the corner of my eyes they jump slightly and turn away I smirk and walk away.
