"Thanks," I say with a fake smile and sit in one of the waiting chairs. It's still the same to matter what people always afraid of my eyes especially when I glare not to mention my resting b*tch face but at least it does a good job keeping people away. My eyes are a mix of Azure, Byzantine Blue, and Dark Blue the thing that makes my eyes creepy is that you can't tell where my irises stop and my pupils start -unless light is shining directly in my eyes- which makes it seem like you staring into a dark hole or the blackness of my soul. I laugh under my breath at the thought. I pull my headphones off my neck and put them on and play Trouble is a Friend remix. The memories slowly slip into my mind.

Look it's Medusa don't look into her eyes or you'll turn to stone, go jump of a bridge "Maddie", why would be friends with someone like you, why are you here you're not welcome in this class anymore, you made the dog attack our son get out find somewhere else to stay, I'm sorry you just creep people out so you're fired, psycho, you're a goddamn sociopath, someone like you doesn't need to know how to fight, how dare you key my car b*tch, Nessabel why did you pull the fire alarm, you're crazy if you think i would like you back, you're dead pip squeak, hope you know a good dentist, why won't you just f***ing die.

"Miss Dabria, Principal Ashford is ready to see you now," Mrs. Willson says hesitantly.

Damn I really scared her didn't I.

I sigh and open my eyes, whatever it's better this way I think to myself. I pause my music and put my headphones back around my neck. I stand up while shoving my phone into my bag.

"K thanks," reply shortly as I walk past her.

I open the door and enter the Principal's office. A man in his early fifties sits behind a mahogany oak desk. He looks up as I walk into the room, a bored expression on my face.

"Ah Miss Nessabel Dabria I presume," he says as he stands up.

"Yup," I reply sharply with a look that says who else would I be the tooth fairy?!

"Right, Um your hair is it dyed?" He asks uncertainty.

"Nope," I reply quickly.

O-oh um okay you got your uniform ok?" he asked.

"Yep," I say looking around the room, there's a large bookshelf and a bunch of framed college degrees. There's a pair of matching chairs in front of and facing the principal's desk.

"Yes well, welcome to Stormbriar Academy," He says with a warm smile.

"Thanks," I say with an awkward smile.

He regains his composure as he gets used to my short responses "As you know Stormbriar has dorms and for all students who attend this fine institution living on campus is mandatory," He says matter of factly.

"Um yeah can you make an exception for me," I say

"No I can't that would be playing favorites and that would me in trouble with the board and your hair -even though it is natural- it already breaks school rule #26 not bright or flashy hair color and no dyed hair," He lectures witch starts to piss me off.

"Yeah well I'm sorry my hair is some shade between carrots and bell peppers if dye would actually work I would have changed it a long time ago," I say in a low voice tucking my head two look at my feet. I know my voice is super scary and sounds like I'm going to commit murder but I only do this to keep from yelling I hate yelling because it just makes me more angry and then I start hitting and throwing things last time I yelled think I make a trash can go flying after kicking it.
