Chapter 14 | A New Bromance? More Like a New Romance

"Yeah, don't ask stupid questions! What matters is that we both took part in it together!" Taka yelled, backing Mondo up.

"That's...completely different from what you were saying last night." Makoto pointed out.

"Friendship between men seems very...simplistic. Nothing like what I'm used to with girls." Sakura said.

"Yeah, for real..." Aoi agreed with a sigh and a shrug.

Throughout breakfast the dining hall was filled with Mondo and Taka's overpowering "brotherhood"... Although it seemed a bit more then a friendship to me. All in all, it was an interesting experience.

I was walking through the dorm hall, nothing to really do at the moment. I saw Toko stand outside Makoto's door and when he opened it, she pushed herself inside and the door shut behind her.

"What the..." I muttered.

I decided to go back to the dining hall. After I'd finished my breakfast I left the dining hall. Mondo and Taka's laughing and shouting was giving me a headache, not to mention the absolute confusing I felt with their new bromance. I pushed open the doors to the dining hall and there they were, standing with their arms around each other's shoulders and laughing. I sighed and approached them.

"Hey you two..." I trailed off, unsure if I was bothering them or not.

Taka looked at me and grinned.

"Ah! (Y/n)! Good to see you! My bro here told me about your "sibling relationship"!" Taka exclaimed.

"Oh, yeah. Anyways, sorry to brother you but I was just wondering about that "contest" Makoto mentioned earlier." I say.

I was completely expecting them to shout at me like how they shouted at Makoto earlier when he brought it up but they just laughed.

"Well sis, last night my bro and I were having an argument and we needed a way to solve it." Mondo started.

"So we asked Makoto to help us and be our witness. So we went in the sauna together and whoever lasted in the heat longer, won the challenge!" Taka finished.

The explanation surprised me. I didn't know what I was expecting but it definitely was not that.

"Okay, so let me get this straight, you two, were in the sauna together for a while, and when you come out you're magically best friends!?" I exclaimed.

"That is correct!" Taka replied.

"Seems like something else happened in there if you ask me..." Naomi muttered from beside me.

I hadn't noticed her approach me until now but that didn't stop me from chocking back a laugh.

"Well, Naomi and I are going to go for a walk. I got the answer I wanted, thanks."

After I said that I grabbed Naomi's hand and pulled her out of there. After the door shut behind us I started laughing. Naomi had a smile on her lips as she tried to keep her laughter in.

"They definitely have something going on!" I exclaimed through my laughter.

Naomi nods and wipes the tears of laughter from her eyes.

"Well, where should we go? You said we'd be taking a walk." Naomi asks.

"Hm..." I trail off.

Then I remembered what happened earlier with Toko and Makoto's room.
