The U.S.S

It was dark and scary when the reptiles exited the reptile house, but they had to be brave for fear of getting caught. They crawled, or in Maddie and Malcolm's case slithered up a tower and past a human, Malcolm felt his coils harden when he herd Nigel bump the empty can on the floor causing the human to turnaround, luckily he didn't see them. they stopped in-front of a spotlight and quickly moved to the wall across the path. Maddie and Malcolm slithered up the wall via uneven stones, Zoe climbed up, Frank used his web to quickly pull himself up and Nigel pushed a chair over to the wall, while making a lot of noise. Malcolm felt his heart stop when Nigel pushed the chair over, he was extra nerves because if they got caught they would most certainly end up either being abused more then they already were, or end up like Jackie. They kept moving along the wall when Nigel climbed up barely avoiding a spot light. They came to a familiar spot where they remembered it was one of the places the monitor showed, Malcolm suggested they disguise themselves with plants. This however was just Maddie holding a branch near her tail, Zoe just walking past, Frank and Malcolm holding branches above their heads and Nigel having an acorn top on his head and leaves as a mustache. he stopped when he was in-front of the monitor and made a pose before Malcolm quickly grabbed him with his tail and pulled him out of view. They moved through a flower bed... and then a cactus bed causing them to get covered in thorns...and they nearly lost Frank to a Venus fly trap. after removing the thorns and the cactus plant from Nigel's back they continued. "I think we're gonna make it" Maddie said when they were nearing the final wall. "Don't say that" Zoe replied. "Every time someone says that something always- she was cut off when they what sounded like wood hitting each other. They stopped suddenly causing Frank to run into Zoe. "Who's doing that?!" Malcolm demanded. "Look". Frank said while pointing up. There in the tree was Pretty Boy, who was hitting a set of wind-chimes with a stick and looked like he was enjoying himself. "Hi sorry do you mind not doing that?" Maddie asked catching Pretty Boy's attention. "What?" he asked. "We're trying to escape, someone might hear you" Maddie answered. Malcolm looked down and covered his face with his tail. "Rule number one of escaping, don't tell anyone your escaping!". He hissed under his breath. "Oh i'm sorry I didn't realize" Pretty Boy said. "That's okay. Maddie replied. Just- She was cut off as Pretty Boy started hitting the wind-chimes again. "So you want me to stop doing this?" He asked. "Yes stop!" Malcolm hissed. "Sorry can't hear you over all this noise" He semi shouted. "The'll see us!" Zoe hissed. "Please" Maddie said calmly. "Were just trying to get back to the outback so we can find our family" Pretty Boy stopped hitting the wind chimes. 'gasp' wow that is so inspiring". He said. "Families are important to ma- he stopped as he started laughing. "Your a snake, you're not gonna get five yards, and anyway what kind of family is gonna want a pair of ugly bugs like you?" he laughed. 'gasp' your really mean". Maddie said. "But he's so adorable". Nigel replied. "Your right, I should do it like this. Pretty Boy said. And stood up turned away from the wind chimes, bent his legs slightly and stated talking in a strange voice while hitting the wind chimes. "Right that's it, i'm coming up there! Malcolm snapped. "Go ahead and try. Pretty Boy said tauntingly. "Snakes can't climb- Ahh Snakes can climb!. He screamed when Malcolm tried to grab the stick from the branch above Pretty Boy, who fell onto the top of the wall and started swinging the stick at Malcolm while Maddie approached him from the front and tried to calm him down while the others came up behind him. "I can't die yet, i'm not even twenty-seven! Pretty Boy screamed. helll-ahh. he stopped as bubbles formed in his mouth and turned reveling Nigel had just stung him. he then fell over the side of the wall. Maddie gasped and she and Malcolm rushed over the side of the wall to watch him fall onto a tree, get catapulted into the air, fall onto his Tyre swing, fly over the trees and land at the base of the wall. "Oh no, I've killed Pretty Boy, I've murdered a celebrity". Nigel wailed. "no you didn't your venom only knocks them out Nigel, he'll wake up in a minuet but he might have a headache" Frank reassured him. "Then we'll have to get him out of here". Maddie replied. "We jump on three, one two three. They jumped over the wall. Malcolm landed first and quickly caught the others and even used his body as a landing pad for Maddie. We're free we're free! i feel so liberated. Frank cheered. We're not safe yet". Maddie replied. and lifting Pretty Boy onto her back, quickly moved with the others through the bushes. They stopped at the waters edge and looked out at the ocean seeing the mountains. everyone was so happy and relived. until the fog cleared reveling it was just the city. "Don't worry. Maddie piped up. we're on our way, and somewhere beyond those lights, is the outback. Zoe then came in. I hate to break it to you but theirs a lot of water between us and those lights, and none of use know how to swim, so how are we gonna- What's wrong with Frank?! everyone looked to see Frank starting to swing his rear. Frank, what are you doing? Maddie asked slightly alarmed. I don't know it's like now that were in the wild, so kind of instincts taken over". Are you saying that this is- a mating dance Frank finished for her. Maddie and Nigel's eyes widened when Frank started dancing while Malcolm held back his laughter. "Okay, if he's gonna do that the whole way, i'm taking the bus". Zoe said. "Theirs a bus?" Nigel asked. "Guys focus" Maddie said while grabbing him. "We need to find a way across the harbor". eventually they settled on a raft... made of twigs and full of holes. "You think you could have found a raft, not full of holes?" Zoe asked. "It floats doesn't it?" Malcolm replied while paddling. "Guys, don't worry we're on our way" Maddie said reassuringly. and check out the sky. They all looked up to see bright lights. "What are all those twinkly dots?" Nigel asked. "I-I think their called dandruff" Frank replied. Dandruff? "Yeah, you know that stuff that falls off humans when they scratch their hair, it floats up into the sky and shines at night. Frank answered. "Wow, dandruff". They all said. "Oh look, what a pretty sail boat". Nigel noticed. "That's not boat Nigel it's a shark. Malcolm replied calmly until he realized what he said. SHARK! They all started paddling in different directions keeping them in one spot. At that moment Pretty Boy woke up. Where am i? he asked. "Just grab a paddle" Malcolm said giving him one. "YOU! Koala-napped me you physio worm. YOU SNITCHED ON US BECAUSE YOU COULD"T LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE. Malcolm shouted. Bigger problems guys! Zoe said getting both of their attention. The shark rose above the water showing it's teeth. The group screamed in fright... until the shark started coughing. "oh sorry about that, I get that reaction a lot, it's the smile isn't it? Said the shark. "You know I took some acting classes, but that's just not me, so i thought stop trying to change who you are and just be yourself, in the face of death, aka Jacinta. Hey aren't you those snakes who can kill a hundred people in ten seconds? She asked. "You've probably eaten a lot more people then that" Malcolm said bluntly. "Sounds about right, did you guys just escape from the park? Jacinta asked. "Yea, how'ed you know? "We get a lot of break outs, last month it was a dung beetle. "Duncan, i thought he got released back into the wild? Frank said."The only place he got released was into the belly of a seagull" Jacinta said as a seagull flew by. "Can you be any more self-obsessed, can everyone please focus on me for once? Pretty Boy said. Razer face take me back to the park, or i'll have your fins made into soup. Razer face? "No no he didn't mean that and were not going back to the park Maddie said while covering Pretty Boy's mouth. "We're on the way to the outback. "Then you've come to the right place". Jacinta said. "For i am, a secret agent". she whispered the last part. "Lethal and deadly designed to strike- she then broke the raft in half. Don't worry i really am an agent, i'm a part of, uss. it then turned into scenario of Maddie trying to say it right, then what it meant and then the barnicals on Jacinta's teeth telling them the password. But it was to quiet so Jacinta had to say it. "That's a really long password". Zoe said. "I-I hate to rush but i think we're sinking" Maddie said. "Oh right on it" Jacinta said then dived under and lifted the raft on her head. "Let's get you guys before the sun comes up, that's when the really scary creatures come out, humans. And with that she took the reptiles to the other side, little did they know that a certain hunt was soon to begin.
