chapter twenty-seven
𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝐬𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐
❝ i can't believe she's ours ❞ 

📍 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 

ADDISON RAE woke up to the small and soft cries of her newborn daughter, Brynnlee. Since it was still in the early days of having Brynn home, she is sleeping in a bassinette next to Addison's side of the bed. Addison looked at the clock and saw it was still pretty early, and this was the third time Brynnlee had woken up and it was only 4:45 in the morning.

"hi baby girl" Addison smiles tiredly at her daughter as she gently picks her up from the little bassinet

"babe go back to sleep" Bryce mumbles keeping his eyes closed forgetting that they were now parents

"Brynnlee is up," Addison laughs slightly at Bryce completely forgetting that it wasn't just the two of them anymore

"oh right," Bryce yawns now sitting up and rubbing his eyes slightly

"does she need a diaper change? i can do that" Bryce adds knowing that was all he could really do at this time since Addison is the one who can feed her

"i think she is just hungry" Addison answers as she continued to rub Brynnlee's back calming her down while Addison pulled her sweatshirt off

"well then you got her then" Bryce laughs knowing he really couldn't help

"okay" Addison laughs and gets Brynnlee situated on her chest

Addison got situated and laid her head on Bryce's chest as she looked down at her daughter as she was fed. Bryce just smiled at the little moment they were having as a family.

"you know how cute you look right now" Bryce speaks up just admiring how beautiful his soon to be wife is

"stopppp" Addison blushes as her boyfriend complimented her

"being a mom suits you" Bryce says before sat up a bit leaving a kiss on Addison's forehead

"aw, you make a super cute dad" Addison smiles returning the compliment

While Addison fed Brynnlee, the new set of parents decided on what they wanted to do today since it was a pretty lazy day because Addison had just given birth not too long ago so she was technically on maternity leave from photoshoots and meetings.

"do you want me to set an alarm for 10 so we don't sleep in too late?" Bryce asks once Addison had gotten Brynnlee back to sleep in her bedside crib

"yes please" Addison yawns laying back down to cuddle close to Bryce

The two fell asleep again, and Brynnlee ended up sleeping through the rest of the night which was nice as it let Bryce and Addison sleep well without worrying. Bryce woke up first and slipped out of bed to shower so he could let Addison sleep.

"morning baby," Bryce says walking out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist

"good morning" Addison smiles looking up from Brynn as she was feeding her

"how'd you sleep," Bryce asks grabbing a hoodie, a pair of shorts, and boxers to throw on

"pretty good, how about you?" Addison follows up once Bryce came out of the closet

"good, i woke up about an hour ago and ordered breakfast which should be here soon" Bryce answers and continues on about what he ended up deciding on ordering for breakfast for the two of them

"ooo yum, where did you order from?" Addison asks since she was pretty hungry and was glad she didn't have to cook

"just urth cafe, since i wasn't exactly sure what you would be craving and i know you enjoy anything from there" Bryce explains earning a nod from Addison

"okay thank you" Addison says as Bryce places a kiss onto her forehead

Addison and Bryce chilled in bed while waiting for the food. Once their food arrived Bryce went downstairs and got it, making it easier for Addison as she didn't have to walk downstairs and move Brynnlee. 

"here babe," Bryce says handing Addison her plate with avocado toast 

"thank you" Addison smiles and the two turned on the tv to watch something while they ate 

"you're welcome" Bryce replies kissing Addison's cheek before climbing back into bed with her 

As the couple sat in bed eating their breakfast, they were both immediately alerted by a sweet noise made by their newborn. 

"what was that Brynnie?" Addison coos at her baby who was laying on Addison's legs 

"i can't believe she's ours" Bryce laughs not being able to comprehend that he's a father to a real baby  

The Hall family carry on laying in bed for another half an hour before Bryce decides to go and have a shower whilst Addison nursed Brynnlee. Afterwards, Addison's and Bryce swapped and that left Bryce to burp the baby. 

"you're so cute Brynn" he tells her patting her back gently 

Brynnlee looked up at her dad and yawned, having a milk moustache from just eating. Addison finished up in the shower and then offered to take Bryn into her own arms, Bryce declined telling her that she needs to rest and that he's got the baby for now. Addison nods in agreement, before all 3 of them decide to go on a little walk round the neighbourhood to stretch their legs. They were staying very local to their houses which was in a private area to stay away from paparazzi. 

"babe do you want to carry Brynn in the carrier or take the stroller?" Bryce asks his wife 

"maybe the carrier so she's more protected just in case" Addison replies as Bryce nods getting the carrier out for her 

Addison gets the carrier situated on the front of her chest as Bryce helps put Brynnlee in carefully, Brynn fussed at first but soon calm down when she felt the touch of her mother's chest. 

"there we go Brynnie, not so bad," Addison says cooing at Brynnlee 

As the 3 of them set off, they were stopped a few times by some of their neighbours who knew the couple were expecting but didn't know they now had a newborn yet, and they were shocked to see them with Brynnlee but of course happy for them. Addison and Bryce got back from their short walk which went very smoothly with no paparazzi or fans, Brynnlee had fallen asleep on the way so Addison very gently placed her in her swing, without waking her. 

"so when do we get to drop Brynn off at Ryleigh's and have anight to ourselves" Bryce jokes as they both know they aren't going to be getting a lot of time between the two of them 

"how about once she's a little older" Addison laughs knowing that is it going to be a long couple of months 

Nothing much more happened, the family enjoyed a nice family day just the three of them.
