Akshara who was talking to arohi felt a gaze on her...she took a deep breath and turned around to see abhimanyu looking in another direction

She smiled thinking she assumed and turned her focus on arohi

As they got in the car arohi spoke

Arohi: dr abhimanyu is hot na...he is one of the best heart surgeon at birla hospital anyone would be lucky to be where he is

Akshara didnt say anything and nodded only as she remembered her conversation with him in his cabin

Meanwhile

Abhi went back to his cabin and was able to smell her fragrance making him close his eyes

Abhimanyu: what's happening to me ? Y was I so eager to get her number? And even if I asked what is the guarantee that she will give it as we are not even friends... y is akshara messing up my head like this y ? He went towards the window in his cabin and opened it allowing the cool breeze to touch his skin

As he tried to calm his sense down his pager beeped, taking it out from his pocket he looked at it to see what it says and then placed it back In his pocket

Abhimanyu: come on abhimanyu you are a Dr for so many years get a grip and do what you are suppose to do over here he said walking over to his table and picked up his setiscope

Aftet an hour abhimanyu had checked few patients and was going to check on a patient who had a surgery the previous day...as he was walking towards the room the patient was in he suddenly saw akshara coming towards him smiling

Abhimanyu: Akshara still here? He thought to himself

Akshara: hi again

Abhimanyu pager again beeped

Abhimanyu: one sec he said taking his pager out and then put it back in his pocket after few secs to look up to see no sign of akshara

Nurse: sir you ok asked one of the nurse who was walking asked while abhimanyu nodded

Abhimanyu: what is wrong with you abhimanyu...you have seriously lost it and if you dont want to lose it completely and get back with your normal life then stay away from akshara and things will be normal as simple as that he said nodding to himself and headed to see the patient

At the goenka mansion

Kartik was working from home or lets say he was trying as he kept on looking at his phone and watch at the same time

Manish and akhilesh noticed that and shook their head with a smile

Manish: beta kartik just so that you know I would like to tell you that you can just look at your phone to see the time too instead of looking at phone and watch he said catching kartik ofguard

Kartik: I...I know that papa I just was checking if my watch was working he said while mansih nodded with a teasing smile

Akhilesh:kartik...you are holding the file upside down he said

Kartik: I know I was just checking if you all were concentrating on work

Mansih: haan haan we are but someome doesnt seem to be he said

Kartik: who said I'm not

Mansih: when did I say your name he said with a playful smile

Kairav: I just spoke to mr mehra he was asking about scheduling the meeting for tomorrow in the afternoon so shall I agree ?

Mansih: yes book it for tomorrow

Kartik: but tomorrow is akshu interview too he said to himself but others heard it
