This is a one chapter guide on how to change (y/n) or any other name into your own name in wattpad :) this can also be used to change any story's pronouns to your preferred pronouns!
DISCLAIMER: THIS FIRST METHOD CAN ONLY BE USED ON A LAPTOP OR PC
STEP ONE: make sure interfaces are turned on/added to chrome.
To add interactivfics to your chrome, simply search "InteractiveFics" and click the first link that you are provided. (The correct link is pictured below)

After you click this link, select "add to chrome" and then "add extension". (This page is pictured below.)

STEP TWO: After this extension is added, go to Wattpad.com and choose the story you want to read!
STEP THREE: Select the (black or grey) puzzle peice button. This is typically found on the top right hand side of your screen, directly to the right of the search bar. It can be found next to three dots and a star.
STEP FOUR: After clicking the puzzle peice, select the "interactivefics" option. From here, you can either replace (y/n) OR select the "need to replace something other than y/n" button, which will redirect you to be able to replace anything else. (Which will be helpful in any of my stories, seeing as I either use (y/n) or an original name!)
STEP FIVE: simply type in whatever name or pronouns you'd like to use and voila!!! You should be all set!! After you click the change button and wait for a moment, the screen should change to your selected name!
MORE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS ON STEP FOUR AND FIVE (IF YOU ARE CHANGING SOMETHING OTHER THAN Y/N, OR IF Y/N IS IN PARENTHESIS (which may or may not effect results):
- Select the "need to replace something other than y/n" option which is found under the typically interacted area.
- Place the original name ((y/n) or otherwise) into the "value" box.
- Place your preferred name into the "Replace with" box.
- Wait a couple seconds for results.
