Artificial Countryhuman Part 2

"Now, as you all saw, Director Poldara and General Mandara Army were able to storm the facility and shut down the operation before things could go too far," UN stated, "they have handed Mr. Norman to me, as well as his head scientist, Dr. Edward Harrison, the will be receiving the appropriate trials and sentencing for their crimes, however that brings us to the aftermath of their genetic meddling. Poldara if you may step forward please."

Poldara gulped as all heads turned to him, but he wordlessly walked to the front of the full-time entity table.  He felt very small and helpless with all the eyes boring into him, it almost physically hurt as he felt their gazes in his back, but he held strong and blocked them out, only focusing on the full-time entities, which weren't any less intimidating.

There were the big four; UN, EU, NATO, and ASEAN, but there were others too, some he had met before like UN's sister, World Health Organisation, and BRICS.  Then there were those he's never met; League of Arab States, African Union, Commonwealth of Independent States, and even World Trade Organisation, for some reason.

"Director Poldara, would you please show us what you found in that facility," UN said, "it could impact countryhumans in ways we could never imagine if it fell into the wrong hands."

"Oh, I highly doubt that," Poldara chuckled nervously, "right now she couldn't even hurt a fly."

"She?" ASEAN repeated.

Poldara nodded and moved his wings way to show the blanket he was holding, then he gently pulled down the blanket to reveal a sleeping child, her eyes blinked open from the brightness and her ears perked up.  Gasps of shock and horror resonated through the room, Poldara held Adira a little tighter as his fellow countryhumans started murmuring amongst themselves.  Adira was confused about what was going on, the number of people there was overwhelming and she still wasn't very used to being around countries after seven years of not knowing they existed.  She whimpered and hid her face in Poldara's shoulder, he hushed her and patted her back reassuringly.

"Is that a countryhuman," Brazil asked.

"Not exactly," Poldara answered, "she was artificially created by the splicing of countryhuman and human DNA, a hybrid if you will."

"That's impossible, human and countryhuman genes don't mix," Greece said, "and for good reason, the children would just look weird."

"You're right Greece," Poldara agreed, "we aren't supposed to mix, and because of Norman's meddling, Adira isn't exactly the most normal-looking countryhuman."

Poldara unwrapped Adira from the blanket to show everyone her abnormalities, her four wings and feathered tail flinched as the blanket was removed, earning more gasps from the crowd.

"That is an abomination," LAS declared, "why did you let it live, that thing is a danger to our kind, it should be disposed of."

There were murmurs of agreement that came from a few countries, which angered Poldara down to the core.

"I'll have you know that this innocent little girl doesn't even understand what she is or what she was created for," he spat, "she was tortured and abused for seven whole years, she is underdeveloped to the point of being more animalistic than childish, for crying out loud, she doesn't even know how to walk or talk.  She is not dangerous, she's just a child."

"A child that will grow up," EU said, "she may be innocent now but it won't stay that way, she will grow, and when she does it will be our undoing, that can not be allowed."

"She won't grow to be dangerous, and you won't lay a finger on her as long as I'm around," Poldara shouted, flaring out his wings, "none of you understand the hell she's been through, I don't even know the half of it, but I guarantee you it's much worse than anything you've all experienced.  She is under my protection now, and I will not see her be killed just because she's different than everyone else."
