The Fourteenth Target

Kogoro stood up angrily, exclaiming "That's enough, Ran! This isn't a game!" Mouri stood up as well and replied, "That's right. All these people have been attacked because of you! How can I just sit still and wait?" all Kogoro said to that was "Uh..."

Edogawa thought 'Ran!' while Irene thought 'Did she really have to blame him for the attacks like that? To get him to step down from stopping us tagging along? I get that she's angry because of the misunderstanding, but did she have to go that far?' though she didn't express anything other than excitement outwardly.

After that, they all went to the Aquacrystal's parking lot. When they arrived, they were all looking at the huge flashy building in front of them in amazement and Mouri asked breathlessly "That's Aquacrystal?" and Megure said, "What a..." Kogoro finished "flashy building!" before there was a sound of a car getting closer.

A certain red car raced towards where they were standing and they all rushed out of the way, well except Irene since she was already standing near Shiratori's car before the car parked right where they were all standing in a reckless manner.

Edogawa thought 'What a reckless driver!' the driver, who was of course Nana, got out of the car and checked how well she parked before saying "I guess I'm a bit off, but it's not too bad." then Kogoro pointed at her and exclaimed angrily "Hey! That was dangerous, Neechan!" to which she asked, "What was...?"

Kogoro replied, "You know..." before 3 other cars were parked in front of them and the drivers got out only to be revealed as Peter, Eimei, and Minoru. Eimei recognized Nana and exclaimed, "Yo, Nana-chan! You too, huh?"

Nana replied, "Oh! Asahi-san called you too, Shishido-sensei?" then Megure asked, "Excuse me Ojou-san, but who are you people?" which made Nana surprised and she asked back "Eh? Oji-san, you don't know who I am?"

It was Shiratori who explained "It's Osanai Nana-san, Keibu. A popular model. The 3 people behind her are, from the left, the essayist, Nishina-san; the cameraman, Shishido Eimei-san; and the last guy is..." Peter introduced himself "Peter Ford. The 2 of you are from the police, and if I'm not mistaken, you're the meitantei,  Mouri Kogoro-san."

Hearing Kogoro's name made Nana surprised and she exclaimed, "Eh? You're that famous detective?" looking at Kogoro who coughed as a reply and she got excited "I've never seen the real thing!" she wrapped her arms around Kogoro's arm "Shishido-sensei? Can you take a picture of us?" they were both doing the peace sign and Kogoro said "Uh... Peace!" before their picture was taken by Eimei.

Edogawa and Mouri both had deadpan looks, the former thinking 'Oi, oi, where did your anger from earlier go?' before Shiratori introduced the rest of their group to them "This is Sawaki Kohei-san, a sommelier, Mouri-san's daughter, Ran-san, and these two are Midorikawa Irene-chan and Edogawa Conan-kun."

Minoru recognized Mouri and said, "Oh! You're the young lady who told me (Please keep writing 'tasty' novels.)" Mouri was happy and exclaimed, "Oh! You remembered?" Minoru let out a puff of air before replying "Both wines and women are especially memorable when they're beautiful."

Edogawa thought in annoyance 'Hai, hai, hai.' and Irene thought 'He's definitely a cheater. And probably said that line to every other (beautiful) woman.'  staying away from Minoru by going beside Kogoro instead.

Megure asked, "Were all of you invited by Asahi-san?" Peter answered, "Yes, at 3 o'clock." Nana added, "I was also invited at 3." Minoru joined in "Me too." then Eimei asked, "Is there some kind of case, Keibu-san?"

Megure answered, "Yes, to tell the truth..." before Nana interrupted by saying "It's almost 3. Let's go already." which made Megure look at his own watch before saying "Ah, yes, that's true. Let's just go to the restaurant for now."
