DDR Character Bios: Emi

A little bit about me!

Hi! My name is Emi Toshiba, but you can just call me Emi! I'm 17, I'm from Sapporo, Japan, and my birthday is on March 3rd!

I may not really look like it, but I'm a total whiz with machines! My family runs an electronics store, so it only makes sense, right? Well, if there's any machines I'm not good with, it's definitely computers and cell phones. I'm not sure why, but trying to fix one usually results in a disaster of some sort. I can use them just fine, but I hate fixing them.

I graduated from a technical high school not too long ago, and now I'm studying at an electronics academy. My classmates and I have been tasked with working on dance robots to participate in robot dance contests, which might sound a bit strange, but it's definitely fun and rewarding! Although I do contribute with building the robot a little, I'm mostly in charge of 'moral support' as they say. Oh yeah, speaking of dancing, that's one of my favorite pastimes!

I've been dancing for as long as I can remember. I spend all of my free time practicing the sickest moves I know! Though, a few weeks ago, I entered a dance program that's pretty much changed my life. I remembered hearing about it from a friend, so I decided to check it out and audition for it. The judges were super impressed with the way I flowed and how smooth my dance moves were, they just couldn't say no to me! Me and a ton of other dancers compete in a ton of dance contests for cool cash prizes, but to be honest, we're all pretty much in it to have a good time! I've made a ton of good friends that I hang out with often, Yuni, Alice, Rage, there's so many!

Aside from dancing, one of my favorite things to do is collect records! I also love nothing more than to enjoy some snacks with my two best friends, Yuni and Alice, both of which I met at the dance competition I mentioned! We love to do all sorts of things together, like eating at fast food places, skating, partying, defying corrupt governments and evil organizations, you know, normal teen things!

I'd generally describe myself as a cheerful and happy girl, who loves nothing better than to have a good time! I've been told I'm very kind, but I also tend to get shy and nervous when it comes to meeting new people and going to big events. Not only that, but everyone I know also tells me I'm quite the big-eater! (It's completely true, I practically eat half my weight in snacks every day and I never pass up a good cheeseburger.)

Everyone I know from that dance competition is super interesting in their own ways, they have great things to tell about themselves!
