new friends for summer

It was the first day of summer and Jane's nabors had there niece and nephew over, now Jane had allready met the niece the nieces name was Eli who was gender fluid(but it will probably be a she thought the book) but she was nervous about the nephew, her brother on the other hand was excited her brothers name is Aiden

Jane got ready to go out and put a t shirt and shorts her brother was allready ready to go so she walked out into the kitchen "ready to go?" Her brother asked after she stepped out "Yep lets go" she replied before walking out and down the hill over to her nabors where she saw Eli and ran to hug the dark brown haired person after there hug her brother Aiden had allready made friends with the dirty blond kinda skinny shortish boy Jane was nervous so she just greted him and they started to walk Aiden and the brother had allready went ahead and were looking at the pond near there house Jane assumed her brother was bragging or telling him about the pond

Jane had allready saw the boy as cute biut wasn't going to speak up about it "hay Eli what's your brother's name" they walked down a hill near the pond but for enough that the two boys couldn't hear them "oh him that's Shane" Eli awnserd while picking up a stick
Jane replied with "that's enteresting I guess, how long are you guys here?" She stood and wached the boys put a stick into the murky water of the pond "only for a little bit today" Eli awnserd

"Oh that's a shame" Jane awnserd with a sadish tone and before long the two were picked up now the thing about it is Jane never knew when they wold see eachother agin so Jane wold go about her normal day waiting for there arrival and a cuple weeks later on a decently warm day the nabors had invited them to come over for a slip and slide and said that Eli and Shane wold be there so Jane happilyed agreed and put on her bathing suit walked out grabbed a towl and applied sunscreen her brother was allready ready and didn't need sunscreen as he never burned so they walked out and greeted Eli Shane and the 2 other kids that were the nabors son and daughter

The slip and slide was down a hill near a tree that the grown up sat under and wached the kids Jane had made better friends with Shane while they played in the sun and the nabor down the rode of wich Jane was good friends with had joined them the grown up had brought out watermelon and to there disappointment it started to rain but that didn't stop there fun they played truth and dare inside while drying off and since Shane and Eli were going to be there multiple days Jane and aiden stayed the night and disobeyed the rules a little by staying up later than supposed to

The boys were in the living room Shane on an air Mattress and Aiden on the couch while the girls were in the littler kids bedroom
And soon enough Shane asked Jane out and Jane said yes she was overjoyed about it too then they got caught staying up and had to go to bed
