I looked at her in shock

What was she doing here?!
She is my cousin from my mamas side of the family. I hated her so much!

She had a gift as well, because her father had some gift blood in him that passed down onto her

She was so snobby! She always had to pointed out that she was better than everyone just because she had a gift

What's her gift? It's called 'Puppeteer'

She was able to choose anyone of her liking and control them like a puppet

In public she was a sweet little angel who just had to bat her eyes and say 'pretty please' to get what she wants

But alone with me, she would control me to do dumb things! She made me act like a pig once because I took a popsicle... It wasn't even the last one!

I was so glad that I moved away from her... Yet here she is

"Y/n! It's so nice to see you again" she gave me a tight hug which I didn't return

"...so nice to see you too" I said sarcastically

"Ah! You just be Camilo! I've heard so much cool things about you!" She gave him a hug, confused he returned the hug

"So! You can shape shift? That's so cool! Can you do me?" Maria started tugging on him like she was a child

"Yeah!" He happily shape shifted into her

"Woah! That's so cool! I can tell you and me are gonna get along" she gave him one more hug and then sent me a glare

I already knew what she was planning

"Maria here came to visit you! The townsfolk told her that you are staying with us for the time your mother's gone. She will be staying for a few days so Y/n, you're gonna have to share the room with her" Alma told me

"That's great..." I glared back at Maria

"I'll go get dinner ready! So the rest of the family can get to know her as well!" Abuela then called out Jullietas name and ran to the kitchen

"So for the meantime tell me more about yourself Cam" she held Camilos hand and looked at him in the eyes

My heart beat suddenly became enraged, I wanted to slap her so badly but I couldn't

"Yknow just a normal shape shifter with nothing but good looks" he complimented himself

"That's so true!" She then led him to a more reserved spot

I looked at them in anger

Who does she think she is?! Think she can just barge in and steal my man? No!

"You need to calm down, I can practically hear your heart beat"

I turned around and met face to face with Dolores

"I can't calm down! She... Phew" I tried to calm down and not snitch on my cousin. As much as I hated her, I couldn't bring myself to ruin her life

"Deep breaths Y/n" she patted my back and went to the kitchen

I went to the bathroom to wash my face, I didn't want to show up to dinner with a red face

"Time for dinner!" I heard Felix yell

I quickly ran to the kitchen and saw Maria sitting in my spot. Right next to Camilo

"So Cam, what's your favorite food?"

"Definitely Tia Jullietas Arepas"

"I also love Arepas!" Shes never even tried one!

I sat next to Isabela and Luisa glaring at Maria

"Everyone! This is Maria, Y/ns cousin. She's will be spending the next few days here so please welcome her with open arms!" Abuela sat up and announced

I realized she was getting to close to Camilo. The amount of hatred I have her is beyond this world

"So Maria! What's your gift?" Antonio asked

"Well why don't I show you?" She created a doll that looked a lot like me and made the doll stand up

I suddenly stood up from my place and walked to where there was space

"Im y/n! Im a short person with anger issues!" She mimiced my voice, that caused me to actually say that

Everyone started laughing at me...including Camilo

She then grabbed the doll and made it do a funny dance

I could just die right here and now

Stop just stop it!

I had a blank face and couldn't control my body one bit

"That's enough Maria" Dolores gave her a look that could send anyone into fear

"Yes yes" Maria then stopped using her gift and let me back into controlling my body once again

I took a deep breath trying to catch my breath

Even though I didn't do anything at all, it still worn me out

"Excuse me, I'll be in my room" I walked away from the dining room to my room filled with rage

Camilos POV:

This Maria girl was hilarious! She asked me a lot of questions and got really touchy with me but who cares? If they make me laugh then I'm okay with it

"So Cammy! Are you dating anyone?" She asked

"I am! Y/n. They are so amazing! I'm so glad I'm with them" I looked off into the distance thinking about their smile

"Y/n? My cousin? Oh I feel bad for you. She once almost killed my brother! She tried pushing him off the roof! "

Huh? Y/n? That does not sound like them at all...

"Oh..." I didn't know how to respond to that, should I be mad at Y/n?

"If it wasn't for me he would have died! I basically saved a life" she said wiping a tear off of her face

"...its getting late, let's go to bed" I made up and excuse

"Okay!" We both walked up the stairs. Before I even entered my room I felt someone kiss my cheek

In shock I looked to see it was Maria "Goodnight Cammy!" She opened the door to Y/ns room and went inside

I wiped off the kiss they left on me and walk inside my room

No one can kiss me except Y/n...
