Kol was sleeping content on his bed when Elijah burst in with a letter. Kol sat up and glared at him but Elijah simply ignored him and read the letter in his hands to Kol.

Elijah Looked up to Kol with a knowing look "Kol I understand Human affair's do not interest you, we all know you did not care for the Civil war, we could compel them to ignor-"
"Elijah, brother I regret not fighting in the Civil war imagine all the blood spilled just to waste! War is death, death is blood, who am I to turn such an offer down?"
As soon as kol had finished speaking his older brother Nik walked into his bedroom smirking "Kol I was beginning to wonder if you were really my brother but now i see we are more alike than ever" and with that he was gone.
Kol turned to Elijah "My country is begging me to kill, why would I compel them when the very thing they are asking me to do brings me joy" and with that he was off to feed.
