'What you mean I forgot to take off my bonnet" ari'es started panicking

'Exactly what I said" mikey laughed

' Mmcht well my bad" ari'es snatched her bonnet off to reveal her slick bun to the back with her baby hairs hanging.

Her mother had done her hair before she left

'I think you looked good" trey stated

'and I think I don't care" ari'es let out a snarky remark

'But yeah it's very important and I wanna tell you before you see it with your own eyes" she turned to Mikey and stared into his eyes.

Whenever she did that it was hard to lie to him or push anything past

'Shoot" mikey said dribbling the ball in between his legs

'We'll umm I'm moving" she said

'Girl that isn't that serious your mom can just drop you off or my mom can drop me off" mikey shrugged it off

'No mikey I'm moving like I'm moving from San Diego to Charlotte carolina" ari'es started playing with her fingers

She was nervous of what his reaction would be. She hoped that he didn't get mad.

When mikey heard that he didn't know what to do he wanted to cry like a lil bitch but he couldn't do that. He also wanted to ask if he could move with her but he knew his mom wouldn't go for it. Only because he was just now starting to have slight opportunity's for basketball.

'Why" was all mikey could say

'We'll my mom is gonna open a bigger shop down there and my auntie and my cousin is there"ari'es said

'But" mikey started

'I don't want to leave I've tried everything but my mom said no" ari'es said as her eyes started to water

'We'll what are we supposed to do" mikey asked

'I don't know maybe you could teach me how to play basketball until I leave later" ari'es said

'Really" mikey Face softened at the thought.

'Yeah" ari'es nodded

She put her bonnet on because she didn't wanna mess her hair up and she tied up her shoes tight she was gonna be sure not to mess them up. Even though she had another pair in the house. Mikey had taught her some things about the shoe game and her mother had taught her the rest.

She was cautious about her shoes she didn't keep the boxes because she had custom she boxes for her shoes but she kept the shoe stuffers because.. well because that part was important.

Ari'es was a quick learner. She learned the basics like how to shoot, dribble and what out of bounds and travel was. Then it was on to the things that she found hard like all the tricks basically. The 5 of them was outside for hours all the boys had taught Ari'es how to play basketball and she finally got it.

But the time had came to an end when Ari'es mom had pulled into Mikey's driveway. The house was empty her mom had spent the rest of the day throwing out things that they weren't taking
