Jay and Carolynn pulled into the high school parking lot, after over sleeping they were running late for class so they were in a rush.
"I'll see you after practice, love you." Jay said kissing Carolynn quickly before rushing towards the gym knowing he was already late for morning practice and that Whitey would have his ass
"I love you too." Carolynn giggled as she walked towards the school building
"Hey Carolynn, congratulations on your engagement to Jay! How far along are you?" A random girl asked as Carolynn just looked at her confused
"Thanks, but what do you mean I'm not pregnant." Carolynn said making the girls eyes widen
"I'm sorry, I guess a few people thought that was the only reason you guys would be getting married was if you were pregnant." The girl said
"Yeah, well you can tell your friends and anyone else in this damn school that I am not pregnant. And if anyone has anything to say about my engagement then I would love to talk to them, face to face where they will be forced to say those things to my face. Good day." Carolynn said before storming off towards the school
She was pissed that someone would start a rumor like that, especially with no physical evidence supporting the accusation of her being pregnant. She couldn't believe how stupid high schoolers could be and how inconsiderate they could be to start such a serious rumor like that. Walking through the hallway, Carolynn could feel the stares of her classmates and hear the whispers as she walked by making her clench her jaw and dig her nails into the pads of her hands.
She sighed in relief when she spotted the familiar faces of Lucas and Haley, hurriedly making her way towards them.
"Thank god, two familiar faces I was about to loose it." Carolynn said leaning against the locker in between them
