𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 - Yeri must remain calm in order for her powers to work - When angry or upset, she could break, ruin, or hurt what she is trying to heal, fix, or grow - Once a year, Yeri gets a headache filled with all of the pain she'd taken from others. In order to release the pain, slowly but surely, she would have to scream. The headache is unpredictable as to when it will arrive, and is always more painful than the last. Yeri and Reginald dubbed this "The Scream".

- Yeri was the last to develop her powers, so she spent a lot of time away from the fighting with Vanya and their father. She continued to stay on the sidelines until she discovered her power in manipulating matter, in which she was promptly trained in using this powers and thrown into the action with her siblings
- Yeri and Vanya (later known as Viktor) continued to be good friends after Yeri discovered her powers, and the two shared a room from the time they were ten up until they were sixteen, simply because they decided they wanted their own space
- Yeri was originally appointed as the editor of Vanya's (Viktor's) book. She told Vanya (Viktor) not to release any of the family secrets
- After the book was released (with the family secrets still in there), Yeri broke off their relationship and moved out, returning to the Umbrella Academy

- Yeri is a gardener who works with her husband, Randy Hao, to keep the family business alive after his mother gets sick. They make decent money, but just barely enough to be able to live with his mother and to be able to support them. Nonetheless, they are happy.
- Allison walks into the flower shop one day, and sees Yeri. The two are excited to see each other, and Yeri explains to her husband that they are adoptive sisters.

- In the Hargreeves notes, Reginald criticized Yeri, saying that she was too naïve and childish to face reality.
- Yeri and Ben were best friends growing up, which the siblings felt was only natural, as they both were always rather positive people. While Ben was more realistic, Yeri was always trying to find some sort of positive outlook on things.
- On the day that Ben died, Yeri was right there, trying everything she could, including taking his pain and attempting to heal him. When Ben eventually died, she took it the hardest, hiding in her room during free time, and going to bed early any night their father would allow her to. She believes that most of the pain she receives during The Scream was from this event, rather than all of the people she healed and saved during any other point.
