Chapter 3 - Wholesome Story Time

Everyone is now seen in the lounge as Gaito was sweatdropping behind his helmet.

"Can someone explain to me what happened...?"

Gaito asked while brining out his holy sword and placing it on his lap.

"Well, Halkara did a dogeza and she suddenly raised her head, afterwards she just knocked her out."

Laika explained.

"Oh goodness...how am I supposed to judge this..."

Gaito said facepalming his armor.

Then suddenly, an explosion was heard from the outside as Gaito looked out the window.

"Oh good name of the Lord...!"

Gaito exclaimed as he ran passed the halls and tried to catch up to the explosion.

"A-Azusa!? Provat-sama...!?"

Gaito exclaimed cutting in between the match.

He used his sword to stop the attack as he held Provat at a standstill.

"Gaito-sama!? What is the Immortal Knight doing here?"

Provat said as Gaito pushed her back.

"Huh? Who's this...?"

Azusa said as she rubbed the back of her head.

"What's going on!? And why is the elf Halkara on death row!?"

Gaito asked as he held Provat back.

"And WHY are you fighting the Demon King!?"

Gaito exclaimed as he blocked another blow from Provat.

"Provat-sama, m-maybe we should calm down...?"

Gaito asked in a gentle voice while still holding onto his sword.

"We can't! This is a trial afterall!"

Provat exclaimed.

"This isn't the judicial process...!"

Gaito said as Provat struck Gaito and slamming him to a wall.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch... she's really grown these past few years..."

Gaito said as he stumbled, trying to get his feet under him.

"And you, Witch of the Highlands, why not send me some attacks? If you take this too lightly, the Elf's life will be in danger too, you know."

Provat replied while swinging her sword.

"That kind of provocation is not good, Demon King!"

Azusa thought while dodging more of Provat's sword swings.

"Crap...Azusa...I can't lose her again...why can't I stand!? Move...move...move...move, Gaito!"

Gaito screamed in his head as he managed to push himself up and block a few swings in order for Azusa to recompose herself.

Azusa then jumped and landed behind Provat as she prepared to lunge at her.

"If it's to protect my family...I won't hesitate at all!"

Azusa exclaimed as Provat blocked a punch thrown by Azusa with her sword but was thrown to the wall.

"Isn't the fight over yet?"

Azusa asked as she took off her jacket.

"I'm just losing my balance, that's all."

Provat replied.
