Prologue
"How does it feel to be genuinely fine?" she asked while fixing her things on one side of an old bed where she had been lying down for almost half a year.
She was so soft-toned while speaking but I could almost hear her heart screaming in pain. She's breaking apart and nobody could help fix her.
She's torn between taking chances and giving up.
"What if happiness does not exist? But almost everyone searches for it and mistaken pleasures as one?" she added.
Her words are sharp like knives slowly stabbed back and forth to my soul and yet I could not come to blame her for what she is feeling right now...for what she has become right now.
She was once the very lively and cheerful person I've known. Not until she lost her lifeline. The only entity that kept her going is gone and so is her soul.
