I opened my eyes, I could feel the cool breeze brush against my face, it was cold, but in a comfortable way..

I look around, theres a bench infront of me, the stars shimmering in my eyes, the endless galaxies surrounding me from every direction

Behind me Is earth, something familiar, comfortable even, but it's not where I belong, it's not home.

I turn back towards the bench, reaching into my back pocket,  pulling out an unfamiliar ticket

24

Read the large, bright red number on the back of the ticket, I looked up again

The faint sound of a train starts approaching, eventually arriving right infront of me.

The doors open, I hesitate but eventually step in, looking around the train

It's empty

I look up, the endless amount of stars flooding my vision again,

I hear the train doors close, quickly sitting down, the faint sound of one of my favorite songs come on as I stare at the beautiful galaxy's just above my head, so close it felt as if I could just reach out and grab them.

You'd think I'd be boring but it was worth it, I was finally going to be where I desired, the place I've dreamt of for so long.

The train came to a stop, my attention gazing over to the large screen in the front of the train,

24: Arrived

The smile grew on my face as I walk towards the exit of the train

One foot stepping out, I turn around, taking one last glance at the thing that brought me to this beautiful place

I finally step out, looking down at myself in my dream world, the place I've for so long desired

I turn around one last time, but the train is no longer there, just a door.

I look back at myself, slowly stepping closer

I reached my hand out merging myself with the other, better me.

I am finally home.
