The moon rises slowly, casting it's chilling rays onto the body of water in the night. Specks of liquid silver danced around the edges, filling up the shimmering center. Beneath the dark waters, although a top shone bright, lay a creature, deep blue in hue. It moved slowly, gliding through the waters deep below, thick fins guiding it's way along. Time unknown passes by freely, greeting the creatures that touches it and taking them along with it, solemnly. Hours pass, or perhaps minutes. The creature knows no different, it knows not of the coldness of the waters it lie in or how many times the sun rises and sets in the sky. All it knows is the lonely openness of its home. No matter how far it swims, never has it seen another creature like it. It bellows, long sound shaking the cold blue.
Yoongi stares at the creature, swimming in its circles underneath the waves. From where he watches, he does not know. Maybe he is somewhere above, watching the distorted features of the creature. Perhaps he is the water, the creatures only friend. Maybe, he is the creature itself.
Yoongi will not get his answer for a long time.

February 5th, 1;18pm. Seoul, South Korea.
Yoongi is pissed.
A girl two years younger than him dropped an entire tray of mid morning coffees onto his book bag, thoroughly soaking the low quality fabric and most importantly; the hand-scribbled sheet music laid neatly on top of it. She'd fallen to the ground and gasped deliberately, immediately running up to search for a mop- or something. Yoongi, running on 2 cups of coffee and the a line of coke for a breakfast that didn't even qualify as one; seeing as he didn't even sleep- effectively screamed at her. he scrambled to salvage the horribly browned pieces of paper. He held up the paper. It flopped on itself sadly, and slowly rolled and tore down from where he was pinching the coffee soaked material. 12 hours of straight composition and one klutz managed to ruin his entire masterpiece.
She really had it coming anyway; he decided. Always eyeing his paper during exams, or gossiping too loudly about someone else while sitting too close to yoongi. he frowned, and glared daggers at her. She bowed repeatedly, low and frantic as she cleaned up her mess, leaving yoongi to his own devices.
Fuck it. It was due tonight, and he had to work. Someone would need to rewrite it, and he certainly didn't have the patience nor the time for anyone else's bullshit. he effectively skipped his next class and locked himself in an empty piano room, closing the blinds.
6 hours later, paper finished and composed perfectly, albeit he'd swallowed down his perfectionist ego and went with pre-made bars, the piece was finished. As he adjusted his airpods into his ears, yoongi stepped onto the metal cabin of the train, reaching above himself to grab tightly onto the handle. Bodies crowded around him, seemingly taking up every little space there was available. The train started up, the car rocking side to side as it sped along the tracks, wind howling on the outside.
He glanced up, checking the time on his phone. Late, again. Late to his part time job, the second one this month. It wasn't that he was late on purpose... yoongi just wasn't super enthusiastic about serving customers all day long. Albeit his job at this cafe is better than the alternatives.. He walked off at his stop, muttering a small, "excuse me" as he passed by a group of highschoolers.

"Yoongi, youre late, again." Hoseok raised an eyebrow, staring at him from where yoongi entered through the back. He waved his hand in a dismissive manner to the younger as he dawned the apron, tying the two thin straps behind his back. Yoongi reached for the black headset, powering on the device.
