"What type of person do you take me for?"

He had asked.

My answer was immediate, I knew his type all too well.

"A bad one."

His responding smile only confirmed my suspicions, yet I found myself drawn to him regardless.

She was beautiful. The way her eyes seemed to light up whenever she spoke and the bashful look she donned when felt she spoke too much. It was endearing, sweet even.

So, why did I resent her so?

  "There are two things that matter most to me. One, waking up on my own jurisdiction, and two, my morning coffee. You have ruined both of them." They say, their voice flat.

All she can offer in response is a small giggle and a sheepish "Oops."

"Get out." They say, their eyes dead.

She leaves in a fit of laughter.
