Sarabjit
Reminds me of simplicity and how we are letting go of this simplicity for our own greed.
What on earth is comfort, what on earth is happiness? It's all but about how righteously, may be this is wrong word that I'm using. But yes, its all about how simple and how full of love is our life. That is all that matters. For many who watch this movie, life of Sarabjit may look like a total waste, a proof of how corrupt, malicious power play can ruin a life. But if look at it with my eyes, you will see succcesful, how exemplary his living was. All the time our only excuse for becoming or succumbing to the evil around us is that the world is equally bad or worse it has done bad to us, we have suffered, be it in the form of tax evasion, following corrupt legal practices, or just hating the world for how bad it is. But this exemplary brother, sister, the entire family:
Din't think evil of the world. They didn't lose hope for good to come from our own world. They didn't think that the world is too bad a place for their voice to be heard. But still might say this is only story. And for those who do say this, I'd only say – I do not know if the story follows some realism or not. But it does inspire. It does motivate us to at least become some percent of what Sarabjit and Dalbir were.
Where I go I will remember this. I may be doing x thing in my life. But there always will be a way to what I truly want to do. All I have to do is try. Make an honest attempt.
