Time passed by without us realizing. Halos hindi kami nagusap dahil masyado kaming focused sa screen re-typing and re-reading everything we write.

We might be party goers and go hard every night out but we still have our responsibilities. May goals kami. It's hard to have fun when broke so we better balance it well.

"Valentine tapos kana?" He later asked breaking the comfortable silence between us.

I looked up to him and saw his fingers constantly tapping the table. Nakaligpit narin ang mga gamit niya.

I threw a loud sigh and nodded. Finally! "I just sent it. Ikaw? Nakatapos kana?" Doie shook his head.

"It's past lunch. Let's eat first bago kita iuwi sa inyo. I'll stay over, you can sleep while I'm finishing mine."

I woke up feeling my stomach grumbling. Agad akong bumangon sa kama at naglakad palabas ng kwarto.

I really thought Doie already left but seeing him chilling on the couch while watching a movie in Netflix, obviously, he didn't.

"Galing naman po. Pay my bills ha?" Biro ko at umupo sa tabi niya.

"Kamusta tulog mo?" He asked, his hand reaching for the remote to pause the movie.

Naghihikab akong sumandal sa armrest ng couch at ipinatong sa hita niya ang mga binti ko.

Doie and I have no worries with such skin ships naman. Siya lang din kasi yung ka-close ko na walang malisya sa akin.

"Honestly, bitin pa pero dina ako makakatulog even if I try to. Anong oras pala tayo aalis?" He glanced over his phone and turned his upper body to face me.

"Maaga pa, mamayang mga 11."

I replied with a nod and closed my eyes again para mag muni-muni. I'll make sure to have a blast later. I've been tortured with schoolworks, I know for sure that I deserve to have fun!

"I'm going to have a little fun later." I later told him that had him shrugging his shoulders off.

"That doesn't sound so good to me."

Napakagat labi ako at ngumisi. "I have this urge to get wasted and kiss someone I don't know." Biro ko para makita ang reaction niya.

"I'd smack your head Valentine. Please lang, don't do anything stupid." Aniya na nagpatawa sakin ng malakas.

"What's wrong with that? It's just a kiss. I'm sure naman na hindi na kami ulit mag kikita whoever he is." Kumunot ang noo niya at bahagyang napanguso dahil sa mga pinagsasabi ko.

I knew he'd react like this.

"Tumigil ka nga. Hindi kapa nakakainom para kanang may tama." Sagot niya atsaka ako inirapan.

"Don't just give free kisses to anyone. It's your lips. Dapat diyan, pinaghihirapan." I cringed hard and slightly kicked his leg. "Ikaw dika pa nakakainom para kanang lasing. San nanggaling yon?" He stopped my leg and glared at me.

"Cringey pero seryoso ako." He's really the brother of our group. Hindi ko alam kung gaano kami kagulo kung wala si Doie para i-balance kami.
