Hawks x reader (scenarios)

Flying

A/n: so my inspiration comes from the song "flying- by Cody fry" so if you wanna listen to the song while reading to get the feel of emotions I felt I'm going to add it into it. I've always wanted people to write songs in fan fiction POV or musicals or movies, or whatever idk if that makes sense. But I'd like for y'all to request these scenarios, I'll write them if Ik the fandom (?). I'll include the ones I'm in later on.

I'm a hero, most would be proud and happy to say those words. I feel sorrow when I say those words, I've been laid off from hero work for over a month now. A villain had burnt my back and crushed my wings, hawks was there to help me out of the fire and get me to safety. Sadly my wings don't heal as quickly as hawks.

Hawks has been coming with me to physically therapy, so we got to know each other a lot more. Usually on Fridays we have a movie night after physical therapy. It was a rough month, but not as rough as it could be because I have hawks helping keep me company. He reassures me that my wings will heal and I'll be back into hero work in no time.

Sometimes it's hard to believe those words when I can't fly anymore. I can't even hover.

I walk to hawks place, for the movie night. As I get there he doesn't have on his pj pants like normal he has his hero costume on.

"Why are you in your hero uniform?" I said as setting the snacks I brought on the counter.

"Well, I figured we can change up our little movie night plans. You're going to fly (y/n)"

"Hawks, I can't. You know I can't, now stop playing and turn on the movie" I said walking toward the couch. He stood in front of me blocking my way. "Hawks?.... You're being serious?"

"They don't know what they're doing, they don't have wings like us. You learned how to fly on instincts, not stretching and all of that nonsense they're making you do."

Next thing I know we're on the roof of a tall building.

"I'm not so sure about this.." I said as I looked down at the ground from the tall building.

"Come on, just go for it!" He exclaimed.

"I don't think I shou-", I get cut off because he shoved me off the building! I scream from shock, I felt the air blowing my hair every where. I know a fall from this height will kill me. I wasn't scared, I felt at peace. I seen hawks falling next to me, he reaches for my hand. I spread my wings before we hit the ground and I soar up into the sky. I closed my eyes going higher into the sky. I felt alive again!

"I can't believe that worked!" He yelled over the wind.

I looked at him, and I smiled tears pricking my eyes. I yanked his hand and pull him into a hug.

"Thank you hawks. You've done so much for me." I said almost crying.we hovered in the air.

"Oh come on baby bird, no need to get all emotional." He said as he lifted my chin up. "Besides, I've always thought you looked so beautiful and happy when you was flying, no bird deserves to be caged."

My heart was pounding against my chest, and with all of the adrenaline in my veins I grabbed his face and smashed my lips onto his. I felt him tense, and then felt him relax into the kiss. He gently caressed my face. Then I realized what I did and I pull away.

"Oh my stars, I am so sorry I just felt so many emotions all at once and the adrenaline, I don't know why-" he cut me off

"It's okay, (y/n)." He paused and took both my hands in his. " I didn't mind at all, I really like you, (y/n)"

I was stunned, if he hadn't been holding my hands I would've forgot how to fly and fell.

"Will you be my bf/gf?" He asked, snapping me out of my daze.

"Yes!!" I wrapped my arms around him.
