Unexpected lover

Part 1- Last first day of high school

Y/n POV

Today was the first day of school, I set my alarm up extra early just to make sure that I won't be late. But I didn't hear my alarm and woke up 45mins later than I was supposed to.

I was late.

I washed myself, put on my uniform and grabbed my bag that I had packed last night and ran downstairs.

My parents own a travelling agency so they were away on a business trip right now and won't be back until tomorrow. Our family is a middle class one, we weren't poor or weren't rich  just enough to live by with extra.

I got a banana from the counter top and rushed to the front door putting on my shoes while peeling it open. I had missed the bus so I had to run to school.

When I got there I was panting and they were just closing the gates. Arriving at my class to see that the teacher had already started the first lesson.

I looked around the room to see Sunghoon on the other side of the room and Rosé was nowhere to be seen. Damn Sunghoon all these seats to chose from and you decide to chose one furthest from the door.

I crouched down and waddled in when the teacher's back was turned. I managed to get to my seat and let out a deep breathe.

"Tut tut tut, late for the first day of school." whispered Sunghoon.

"Shut up." I whispered back while taking out my books, "why did you chose a seat so far from the door, are you trying to get me caught by the teacher and where's Rosé?" 

"Just wanted a window seat and Rosé is also late, I swear to god being friend with you 2 is going to be a bad influence on me."

"You're not much of an angel either." I said, I took out my phone checking it under my desk to see that Haewon had texted me I replied to him and my parent who where asking me how was school going.

"Y/n-" 

"Huh?" I looked up to see Sunghoon staring behind me and the whole class was silent.

"He's behind me isn't he?" I mouthed, Sunghoon nodded.

"Ms Lee, what do you think you are doing in my class? First you came in late, don't think I didn't see you waddling in like a duck, then you think it's okay to go on your phone?"

He snatched my phone off me then said, "after school detention." 

Just then Rosé walked in. "Ah, Ms Park nice to see that you are here to join us today. You're only 20 minutes late it's fine, you can join Ms Lee here for after school detention." 

He walked back up to the front of the class and started teaching again after putting my phone in his drawers. Rosé rolled her eyes and sat down in the seat behind us. "At least I decided to show up today." 

I looked back and at her and laughed.

"I hate him! I was only late for 20 minutes, it's not like the whole class is going to die if I'm not there." Rose complained, her mouth full of food.

"Yea, it's so unreasonable and I was on my phone because it was urgent." 

"Texting your boyfriend isn't urgent." said Sunghoon taking a seat beside me and placing his  lunch on the table.

 "Wait, Sunghoon you should do something dumb and come to detention with us!" Rosé suggested.

"No, what sort of request is that?" he said, giving Rosé a disgusted look.

"A good one." I said, backing Rosé up.

"You just continue eating." he said, placing his hand on the top of my head and turning my head back to my food.

It was after school and Sunghoon had already went home, we were on our way to the room which our detention is at.

When we got there, there was a few other people. Mr Kim the teacher that put us in detention looked up and said, "you're even late to detention."

I looked down at my apple watch to see that we were 3 minutes late, I tried not to glare at him and said sorry before taking a seat in the back corner with Rosé.

"Okay, that's it for today!" 

I got up and stretched my arms, "Finally!" I said, I was trying to study but was finding it hard to concentrate without music.

On our way out the teacher handed me back my phone and said, "Don't let me see you using this in my class ever again."

When we were out of the class Rosé said, "my butt hurts from sitting on that seat for so long." 

"Did you get anything done?" I asked.

"Yea, I wrote some notes but that was about it."

We went our separate ways after saying bye at the entrance.

When I got home I took a shower and ate dinner before going to do some homework, half of which I didn't understand and tried to facetime Sunghoon for him to help me.
