Backstory (izukus pov)

A/N : hey guys this is taking place when over haul is more kind to people! So don't get annoyed at me for portraying him as nice also I've decided to change his age so he's 25 but 20 at the time he meets izuku (who is 9)

As a kid, I was always bullied for being a QUIRKINESS LOSER and that I was a PATHETIC WASTE OF SPACE. Well my friend bakugou told me that, then the whole school. He made my life a living HELL. I just wish he was GONE FOREVER. But one day my life was about to change forever. As I was running away from my mothers toxic parenting. Bakugous remarks. Also all mights words.

*flash back*

"CAN I BECOME A HERO, EVEN WITHOUT A QUIRK" I shouted nervously. About to cry pulling on my school uniform. All might looked me dead in the eyes and responded with

"No. You cannot become a hero without a quirk, quirks are what makes hero's, without a quirk you just, USELESS, so don't even try to become a hero when your useless"

*flash back end*

I happened to run into this girl and her parents she has beautiful blue hair and eyes. She looked a few years older than me I got up and just ran off. Not knowing I would see her again.

* a couple hours later*

Getting dark. I'm starving and thirsty and my legs exhausted I felt all I could do was cry and I couldn't do anything because I didn't have a quirk. I felt as if I was dying I let a cry for help. But nobody heard me I could do NOTHING but cry. Maybe I am just a pathetic waste of space. A quirkless loser. A wannabe. Maybe I am those things. But I'll show them. That I'm not a loser NOT A WIMP and that I will surpass all-might. Suddenly my vision went black I felt myself fall onto the ground I passed out.

*when I woke up*

"Where am I?" I ask to myself "is anyone there?" I heard loud footsteps coming closer to me. The door knob turned to show a tall guy with a birds mask. He had brown hair and he looked as if he was in his 20's

"I'm overhaul, I was the one who brought you here, what is your quirk young boy?" He said walking closer passing me a cup of hot chocolate.
"Oh" I looked down at the hot chocolate "I don't have one" I responded waiting for the same old answer. Probably quirkless freak but instead he asked me

"Do you want a quirk?" He seemed to be smiling under his mask. I look up at him

"What do you mean? I asked raising one eyebrow. Drinking my hot chocolate.

"Well you see, I'm a scientist and I figured out a way to give people quirks, I want to help the quirkless to bring out there true strength, also to prove the people who beat them up and made them life a living hell and prove them wrong" he said. " it is the middle of the night if you want to get some sleep that's fine since you might be tired" overhaul said as he was about to walk off

"I'm not really that tired" I responded getting up overhaul walked closer to me and sat on my bed

"Why was you in the middle of a dark alleyway anyway? Asked overhaul putting his arm around me

"Well you see..."

*i explained the whole story*

"Wow kid, I never knew you went through that.." overhaul said "do you want anything to eat?" Overhaul asked

"Uhm sure. Do you have any Katsudon?" I ask, since it was my favourite food anyway.

"Sure I'll bring it to you, I forgot to ask, what is your name kid?" Overhaul asked looking around at me

"It's izuku, no last name" I said looking down overhaul

"Well, since I'm in my 20's I can adopt you so then izuku Chisaki" He said smiling under his mask. My eyes lit up with joy at that name, least I was with someone Better than my old mother. And I never really knew my father. But this was a beginning. A new beginning for me
