ELEMENTAL
MUCH OF ISLA Stacey's life has been a blur. Maybe it was because she had tried to focus on something she thought her parents wanted her to love. Or because her sister excelled in it. Or perhaps it was because she knew a career would almost certainly follow because it held a degree further down the line. But, science has always been a second best for her. What Isla wanted more than anything was to be on the screen. Therefore, when a new and upcoming feature film begins casting in her hometown, she chooses to follow her passions and take a leap of faith. Until a vigilante in a strange spandex suit becomes a much larger part of her life than they should've, and her balance between passions and school becomes lopsided. All while dealing with bigger changes in her own life, and discovering who she really is. Isla must push herself to breaking point in order to keep, not only his secret, but her own, to protect the lives of those she loves. Or she faces losing everything she has struggled to fight for.
a/n and disclaimer: Welcome back to what used to be "My Hero"! I am so excited to re-write this into something fresh, mature, and far more up to date with my writing abilities than what once was. I hope you enjoyed the extended summary, and like the cast. I have left the characters of Emma and Luke up to you guys! Who do you want to see playing a couple of side characters? I want to include them a little more, rather than just have them as two actors who work with Isla. Also, all of my characters will be their respective ages of 17, as it is in the movie. Therefore, Dylan's character will be 17, and in this universe, he will be an upcoming actor, having been in a few little bits here and there, and goes by the name of Isaac. HE IS NOT HIMSELF IN THIS BOOK ANYMORE. HE IS A FANCAST. But, I hope you enjoy it when I write it. I loved seeing your feedback on the previous book, and I just can't wait to write this.
