*Love ONE*

Si Suzanne Almario, ang babaeng pinapangarap ng lahat at ako na rin. Siya ay isang restaurant manager kung saan una ko siyang nakilala. She's strict to her employees. I'm under her. I work as a cashier dahil yun ang trip ko. Ayoko magtrabaho under my dad kaya naghanap ako ng mapapasukan.

Tapos na ang shift ko pero nanatili ako para titigan siya. Siya lang bumubuo sa bawat araw ko.

"Quiet staring Brendan. I might die."

"Dying to love me."

"Korni mo promise. Umuwi ka nalang."

"Pag napagod na akong tumingin sayo."

She's blushing and I love seeing it. It makes her even more prettier. Nawala nalang ang ngiti dahil sa isang lalaki na sumundo sa kanya. Nagyakapan sila sa isa't-isa at matamis itong nginitian ni Suzanne. Parang gusto kong bugbugin ang lalaking yun.

"Brendan, Hindi ka PA uuwi?" Biglang tanong ni Suzanne. Masama akong tiningnan ng boyfriend niya.

"Oo uuwi na din ako. Ingat ka."

"Let's go Honey."
Singit ng kasama niya. Tanging likod nalang ng kotse ang natatanaw ko. I let out a heavy sigh.

I called Noah to fetch me. Few minutes, he arrived. I give fist bump with him. He knows everything about what I do. Even working in the restaurant.

"So, how was your day?"

"I thought it was good but not."
Noah shook his head.

If that man didn't arrived I have my chance on talking to Suzanne and even send her home. While riding in Noah's car, I keep thinking about the smile of Suzanne few hours ago. It felt surreal.

"Your smiling like an idiot." Noah commented. If it is idiot to smile because I love her smile I wouldn't mind.

Nakarating na pala ako sa apartment na inuupahan ko.  "Thanks Noah."

"Your welcome. Anyway, before I go, I wanted to say, your Dad is looking for you. He ask me about your whereabouts. Bro! Nakonsensya na ako sa pagsisinungaling sa kanya."

"Just don't mind him. Gusto ko lang patunayan na I can stand on my own without his influence."

"Sige. Alis na ako."

Paglisan ni Noah diretso ako sa apartment at binuksan ito. Binagsak ko ang sarili sa aking kama.

I quickly took my phone and open it. My wallpaper is a stolen shot of Suzanne. In the picture, she's sitting down looking at the tree in front of her. She's at the park when I took it.

I keep asking myself when can I hold her hand. When she can be mine? I was disturb by a call of an unknown number. Tsk! Who is this?! I'm tired enough.

"Who is the stupid calling me?!"
I don't care who's calling. As if he/she is too important.

"Brendan Astro Hernandez, why are you shouting huh?!"

Ang gago ko talaga! It's my mom. I relax myself. "Sorry mom. I'm just tired."

"It's not still an excuse son. Anyway, I called because I'm worried just like your dad. But, I didn't tell your dad that I will call you."
